in this project is learn general skills such as project management, teamwork skills and learning to work under stress, and secondly, to learn new technologies and programming languages, exactly, how to use ASP.NET & C# in cloud computing field. And specifically, to create a service (software) for students and teachers in the same academic institution (universities) so that they can share files among themselves with total security and simplicity, and back them safely in the cloud at the same time.Cloud computing is a model for enabling convenient, on-demand network access to a shared pool of configurable computing resources that can be rapidly provisioned and released with minimal management effort or service provider interaction. The cloud model of computing promotes availability. Any web-based application or service offered via cloud computing is called a cloud service. Cloud services can include anything from calendar and contact applications to word processing and presentations. Software as a Service (SaaS) is the model in which an application is hosted as a service to customers who access it via the Internet. When the software is hosted off-site, the customer doesn’t have to maintain it or support it. A service (software) for students and teachers in the same academic institution (universities) so that they can share files among themselves with total security and simplicity, and back them safely in the cloud at the same time is designed and implemented using ASP.NET and C# in this projec

Metadata, the undiscovered treasure box for book recommender systems for children: What traits can be inferred from book’s descriptive and structural metadata which could support the designers of books recommender systems for children?

This study examines traits that may be derived from book metadata and identifies statistically signifi- cant patterns and trends in order to assist recom- mender system designers for children’s books in selecting the most important traits to take into ac- count. This research focuses on descriptive such as publish year and structural metadata such as the chapters’ count. We rely on data from two different data sets, Goodreads and Wikisource. The findings of this study, such as the fact that there is a relationship between the number of pages and the reader’s age, may have an impact on the design of recommender systems for children’s books. This is all with the respect to the fact that children are a vulnerable audience, making it challenging to not infringe on their privacy while gathering infor- mation that can be used in statistical experiments in many fields such as education and health.CSE3000 Research ProjectComputer Science and Engineerin

Stenting of critical tracheal stenosis with adjuvant cardio-pulmonary bypass

Severe and critical central airway obstruction causing impaired ventilation and/or oxygenation can impose tremendous challenges on the interventional pulmonologist. Near total airway obstruction can rapidly evolve into potentially fatal complete airway occlusion during bronchoscopic airway manipulation under moderate sedation; as well as during the induction of the general anesthesia. Although there are currently interventional pulmonary procedures available to tackle the critical airway obstruction in extreme situations, cardio-pulmonary bypass should be considered prior to the intervention to maintain the adequate gas exchange during the procedure. Orotracheal intubation with mechanical ventilation in this situation can be fatal itself if the obstructing airway lesion functions as a “one way valve” allowing air to follow distally during inspiration but impeding expiratory flow leading to gas trapping, high intrathoracic pressure, tension pneumothorax, and ultimately a cardiac arrest
