    Harnessing Dual-Functionality of N, F-Codoped SnO2 Material for Efficient Hydrogen Generation and Dye Degradation

    The need for pollution-free energy generation and water treatment is urgent, but more significantly, affordable energy supplies are currently the focus of study. Hydrogen is one of the energy sources that is thought to be pure and clean. This work uses N, F-codoped SnO2 nanoparticles for photocatalytic hydrogen production and dye degradation. At room temperature, a straightforward synthetic method based on solutions has been used to easily incorporate N and F into the SnO2 lattice. Utilizing various scavengers, the photocatalytic water splitting process was carried out. A combination of sacrificial agents was used to get the highest possible hydrogen output. Numerous methods were employed to characterize the generated nanoparticles. Using powder X-ray diffraction and electron microscopy, the phase identity and surface characteristics of the N, F-codoped SnO2 nanoparticles were verified, whereas the elemental percentage composition was confirmed through X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. A wide bandwidth is seen in the Raman spectra, which suggests the presence of oxygen vacancies and structural disorder brought about by the addition of N and F dopants. In light of this, this work investigates the possibility of N, F-codoped SnO2 as a photocatalyst for photocatalytic hydrogen generation and creates new avenues for the production of energy and environmental concerns.One of the authors, Sanjeev Kumar is thankful to Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) for Senior Research Fellowship.     Gene diversity among some endogamous population of Amravati District, Maharashtra, India.

    The present work deals with the distribution of ABO, Rh and sickling alleles as markers to study the genetic structure and micro-demarcation among castes and tribal populations from the Amravati district of Maharashtra. Three loci namely, ABO, Rh and sickling were selected to measure the relative frequency of respective alleles in ten (10) endogamous populations inhabiting the Amravati District. The ABO locus was found to be less polymorphic when compared with other loci. On the other hand, Rh and sickling loci were found to be more polymorphic. Construction of a dendrogram using allele frequency data reveals an interesting relationship among the caste and tribe. An analysis shows three major clades comprising A, B and C. Clade A comprises Islamic Dawoodi Bohra and Hindu Gujrati. Clade B comprises the upper castes, Brahmin, Jain, Kashmiris and Kunbis, while Clade C shows Gonds and Katchhi. This study is a first attempt to provide a genetic landscape of castes and tribes inhabiting the Vidarbha region. The findings are discussed in light of the historical, anthropological and genetic data available for the studied group

    A New Electronically Tunable Current Differencing Transconductance Amplifier Based Meminductor Emulator and its Application

    550-558In this paper, a simple electronically tunable meminductor emulator based on current differencing transconductance amplifiers (CDTAs) and passive components has been suggested. The proposed CDTA-based emulator is unique as it is memristor-less, uses only a single type of active building block, has simpler circuitry, is electronically tunable, and uses only grounded capacitors. The proposed emulator shows acceptable performance over a broad frequency range. Using the LTSpice tool and 0.18μm CMOS technology, simulations were conducted to test the performance of this emulator. The proposed meminductor emulator's functionality has been examined for the chaotic oscillator and adaptive learning circuit. The satisfactory performance of these circuits confirms the use of the proposed emulator in a practical environment
