جارن ریوزن اور ڈیوڈ کارکے نظری مباحث کی روشنی میں تاریخی بیانیے کی ادبی نوعیت :تجزیاتی مطالعہ: ANALYTICAL STUDY OF LITERARY NATURE OF HISTORICAL NARRATIVE IN THE LIGHT OF JORN RUSEN AND DAVID CARR\u27S THEORETICAL DISCUSSIONS

    No full text
In the late 20th century, a significant change occurred in the historical perception of historians. This change involved the intensive utilization of literary resources in historical studies, leading historians to accept the collaboration between history and literature. They found it challenging to ignore that when they narrate events, the narration of events follows the rules of "Narrative" and "Narrative" is a linguistic method of creating meaning. German historian Jorn Rusen (1938) has discussed the literary nature of historical narrative in his book History, Narration, Interpretation, Orientation. Rusen has talked about the Subjective description of objective facts in historical narratives. He has also described four types of historical narrative: Traditional, exemplary, critical, and genetic. While possessing distinct characteristics, these narratives do not mutually annul one another; rather, they share an enduring interconnection. Throughout the historical continuum, these four narratives converge, collectively offering a historical framework for practical life\u27s evolution. It is asserted that the presence of imagination in depicting historical facts is crucial, emphasizing a shift in modern historical studies away from traditional, objective approaches. Contemporary methods of historians prioritize subjectivity in historical narratives. This article aims to explore the relationship between history and literature because the current principles of shaping historical consciousness are inherently aesthetic and linguistic

Abstract We introduce the concept of matrix generalized (θ, ϕ)-derivations on matrix normed algebras, and prove the Hyers-Ulam stability of matrix generalized (θ, ϕ)-derivations on matrix Banach algebras.</jats:p

Fixed Point of Generalized Weak Contraction in b-Metric Spaces

    No full text
In this manuscript, a class of generalized ψ,α,β-weak contraction is introduced and some fixed point theorems in the framework of b-metric space are proved. The result presented in this paper generalizes some of the earlier results in the existing literature. Further, some examples and an application are provided to illustrate our main result

Fixed Point of Almost Contraction in b-Metric Spaces

    No full text
In this paper, we introduce a generalized multivalued (α, L)-almost contraction in the b-metric space. Furthermore, we prove the existence and uniqueness of the fixed point for a specific mapping. The result presented in this paper extends some of the earlier results in the existing literature. Moreover, some examples are given to illuminate the usability of the obtained results

Complete Blood Profile in Hepatitis Patients

ABSTRACT Aims and objectives: The basic aim of the study is to find the risk factors of hepatitis B and C among local population of Pakistan. Methodology of the study: This cross sectional study was conducted in Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Lahore during 2019 to 2020. A total 120 study participant’s aged ≥ 18 years with clinically diagnosed CLD were included in the study by convenient sampling technique. Results: A total of 100 patients with signs and symptoms of CLD were recruited. Of these, 85 subjects completed the study. The mean age ± SD for all the study population was years (range = 18–80). Majority, 75.8% were below the age of 50 years, 67 (55.8%) were married, 32 (26.7%) single, 11 (9.2%) divorced, and 10 (8.3%) widow. In relation to residence area, 91 (75.8%) of the participants were urban dwellers. Conclusion: It is concluded that prevalence of HBV and HCV infections among CLD patients in this study is high. Dental extraction at health facilities has 2.95 time association of acquisition of HCV infection than those who do not have history of dental extraction

Diagnostic Accuracy of Computed Tomography Scan in Mediastinal Masses

ABSTRACT Introduction: Mediastinal lesions include a wide spectrum of pathology, ranging from tumors (benign and malignant), cysts, vascular anomalies, and lymph node masses to diffuse lesions such as pneumomediastinum, mediastinitis, mediastinal fibrosis and encysted pleural effusion. Aims and objectives: The basic aim of the study is to analyse the diagnostic accuracy of computed tomography scan in mediastinal masses assuming histopathological findings as gold standard. Material and methods: This cross sectional study was conducted in Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Lahore from October 2019 to April 2020. After taking informed consent, computed Tomography was performed on Toshiba Aquilion Multislice CT scanner before and after intravenous contrast administration. Results: Age range in this study was from 25-65 years with mean age of 48.57 ± 10.53 years. Majority of the patients 58.78% were between 46-65 years of age as shown in Table 1. Out of these 148 patients, 82 (55.41%) were males and 66 (44.59%) were females with ratio of 1.2:1. Mean duration of disease was 8.39 ± 4.78 months (Table 2). Mean size of mass was 5.21 ± 2.45 cm. Conclusion: It is concluded that computed tomography is a highly sensitive and accurate non-invasive modality for differentiating malignant and benign mediastinal masses, and has not only dramatically improved our ability of accurate diagnosis of mediastinal masses but also improved patient care by timely and proper treatment

Generalized Wardowski type contractive mappings in b-metric spaces and some fixed point results with applications in optimization problem and modeling biological ecosystem.

    No full text
In the realm of b-metric spaces, this study introduces a novel generalized Wardowski-type quasi-contraction, denoted as β-(θ, ϑ). We begin by applying this new contraction to derive standard fixed point results. Subsequently, we establish the existence of a generalized quasi-contraction of the Wardowski type, thereby validating the robustness of our findings. Specifically, we utilize Nadler's work to model biological ecosystems and apply our results to solve an optimization problem. To illustrate the practical implications and effectiveness of our approach, we provide a comparative analysis between our results and those of Nadler. This comprehensive study underscores the significance and utility of our generalized contraction in both theoretical and applied contexts
