Book with cd-rom. First critical edition, both in paper and digital format, of the earliest medieval non -liturgical poems set to music. The musics have been edited by Sam Barrett of the Cambridge University. The texts have been recostructed on the basis of the extant manuscript tradition (80 mss.) according to Lachmannnian criteria: all of them have been transcribed and reproducted in the enclosed cd-rom, that includes also archives of linguistical, metrical and musical phenomena of the "songs" and audio records of the relative modern transcriptions. F. Stella, coordinator od the European project that has promoted the edition, is author of the introduction, general editor of the textual edition and of the digital edition and editor of many single texts, here attached in pdf format.
