Abstract
Though today's society promotes healthy lifestyles wide range of sports , a lot of information about the prevention of social pathologies and good eating habits , we meet very often with negative effects such the inclination to sedentary life style with limited physical activity. As a group, we feel especially vulnerable children and youth . The project " Health, Fitness and education in Visegrad Countries and neighboring Countries " is focused on mapping and comparison of selected aspects of lifestyle and somatic characteristics of adolescents from Visegrad and other European countries (Poland, Czech Republic , Hungary, Slovakia and Ukraine). The principal investigator of the project is Universytet Kazimierz Wielki in Poland. The Czech Republic participated in the project 90 probands (51 boys, 39 girls). In this part of the research are presented the results obtained in the Czech Republic: the volume and intensity of physical activity. Between girls and boys were not found significant differences in the number of days/week and the average number/days of moderate physical activity during the week. The average number of minutes/day were also among probands with different gender confirmed significant differences (p ≤ 0.04). In accordance with the results of similar research results confirm a low level of physical activity among adolescent girls. The results of the project will help not only to compare data on physical activity of adolescents in individual countries, but also to examine it in the context of the effectiveness of preventive measures in the participating countries.Reich Petr, Miklánková Ludmila, Rechtik Zdeněk. Effects on flavonoid metabolism and transport in in vitro cultures II.
Name of the work: Effects on flavonoid metabolism and transport in in vitro cultures II. Author: Ludmila Chládeková This diploma thesis is focused on the cultivation of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgii suspension cultures and on the transport of flavonoids through the tonoplast. The effect of MgATP, glutathione and bafilomycine on baicalin and baicalein transport was observed in the isolated vacuoles. Our experiments showed, that MgATP has positive effect on the transport speed and on the total amount of vacuole-stored baicalin. The transport was realized by ATP dependent tonoplast transporters, called ABC transporters. The experiments with glutathione and bafilomycine did not show any effect on flavonoid's transport
