Gaya Bahasa Pidato Mahmoud Abbas (Kajian Stilistika Perspektif Gorys Keraf)
This study aims to examine the stylistic aspects of Mahmoud Abbas’ speech in the United Nations General Assembly 76th in September, 2021. The data of this research is collected from Mahmoud Abbas’ speech in the video uploaded in the UN Youtube channel. This is analytical descriptive research using Gorys Keraf’s theory. The result of this study is that the speech cointains numerous language style. The word preferences are based on the frequent words, specific words, associative words, and pronoun. The language style used in the speech is the style based on sentence structure and figure of speech. The results showed that Mahmoud Abbas' speech contained the predominance of ihtilal and Falasṫin. This dominance is measured based on statistics and shows a certain meaning effect. Mahmoud Abbas' speech was also dominated by Israeli-Palestinian word associations, special dictions, and variations of pronouns. The language style of Mahmoud Abbas' speech is also colored by figurative language style, namely rhetorical style, allegory, and satire. This style of language influences meaning.Keyword - Mahmoud Abbas, United Nations, Speech, Stylisti
On fixed points of Berinde’s contractive mappings in cone metric spaces
In this paper we establish some common fixed point theorems for two self-mappings satisfying a generalized contractive
condition. This result generalizes well known comparable results in the literature. As an application, a necessary and sufficient condition for a fixed point to be a periodic point for the mapping involved therein, without appealing to continuity, in a cone metric space is established
Methodology matters ⋯ but so does interpretation!

Impact of Different Salinity Levels on Growing Performance, Food Conversion and Meat Quality of Red Tilapia (Oreochromis sp.) Reared in Seawater Tanks
The effect of varying salinity levels (15‰ to 40‰ with 5‰ increment) on growth, feed ef ciency and meat quality of red tilapia, Oreochromis sp. (mean body weight 5±0.07g) were investigated. Juveniles of red tilapia were randomly distributed into seawater tanks (60 cm × 30 cm × 45 cm each). Ten sh were stocked in each tank with 2 replications. Fish were fed with commercial oating pellet (35% protein) at 3% body weight per day for 40 days. Results showed that sh growth was signi cantly (P0.05) affected by salinity level. The hemato- logical parameters like hematocrit, cholesterol and plasma triglycerides were similar among sh fed on different salinity level (P < 0.05)

SMA-SH: Modified styrene maleic acid copolymer for functionalization of lipid nanodiscs
Challenges in purification and subsequent functionalization of membrane proteins often complicate their biochemical and biophysical characterization. Purification of membrane proteins generally involves replacing the lipids surrounding the protein with detergent molecules, which can affect protein structure and function. Recently, it was shown that styrene–maleic acid copolymers (SMA) can dissolve integral membrane proteins from biological membranes into nanosized discs. Within these nanoparticles, proteins are embedded in a patch of their native lipid bilayer that is stabilized in solution by the amphipathic polymer that wraps the disc like a bracelet. This approach for detergent-free purification of membrane proteins has the potential to greatly simplify purification but does not facilitate conjugation of functional compounds to the membrane proteins. Often, such functionalization involves laborious preparation of protein variants and optimization of labeling procedures to ensure only minimal perturbation of the protein. Here, we present a strategy that circumvents several of these complications through modifying SMA by grafting the polymer with cysteamine. The reaction results in SMA that has solvent-exposed sulfhydrils (SMA-SH) and allows tuning of the coverage with SH groups. Size exclusion chromatography, dynamic light scattering, and transmission electron microscopy demonstrate that SMA-SH dissolves lipid bilayer membranes into lipid nanodiscs, just like SMA. In addition, we demonstrate that, just like SMA, SMA-SH solubilizes proteoliposomes into protein-loaded nanodiscs. We covalently modify SMA-SH-lipid nanodiscs using thiol-reactive derivatives of Alexa Fluor 488 and biotin. Thus, SMA-SH promises to simultaneously tackle challenges in purification and functionalization of membrane proteins.BN/Marie-Eve Aubin-Tam LabBN/Andreas Engel La
