No full textPresso l’Archivio Storico del Vicariato di Roma, nella sezione che ospita la documentazione relativa al capitolo di San Lorenzo in Damaso, è conservato un ‘Libro catasto vecchio’, riferito alle proprietà di San Nicola in Carcere. La legatura archivistica è in cuoio scuro, con decorazioni impresse. Un foglio di pergamena è stato utilizzato come controguardia per rivestire i contropiatti; si tratta di un foglio proveniente da un codice pergamenaceo più antico del catasto vecchio, vergato in minuscola romanesca e recante una porzione del libro quinto della versione latina delle Antiquitates Judaicae di Giuseppe Flavio. of the ÖNB in Vienna (P. Vindob. L 128, papyrus, and P.Vindob. L 95,
parchment, both written in B-R uncial) are described and edited here for
the first time, as well as referred to, with different degrees of certainty, as two
witnesses of the ex integro version of Codex Theodosianus. Both of eastern
origin and provenance, they contribute not only to increasing the number
of direct witnesses of the Theodosian compilation, but also to the knowledge
of its dissemination in the pars Orienti
