    Nonperturbative Adler-Bardeen theorem

    No full text
The Adler-Bardeen theorem has been proven only as a statement valid at all orders in perturbation theory, without any control on the convergence of the series. In this paper we prove a nonperturbative version of the Adler-Bardeen theorem in d=2 by using recently developed technical tools in the theory of Grassmann integration. The proof is based on the assumption that the boson propagator decays fast enough for large momenta. If the boson propagator does not decay, as for Thirring contact interactions, the anomaly in the WI (Ward Identities) is renormalized by higher order contributions. Emergent Adler-Bardeen theorem

We consider a QEDd+1, d = 1, 3 lattice model with emergent Lorentz or chiral symmetry, both when the interaction is irrelevant or marginal. While the correlations present symmetry breaking corrections, we prove that the Adler-Bardeen (AB) non-renormalization property holds at a non-perturbative level even at finite lattice: all radiative corrections to the anomaly are vanishing. The analysis uses a new technique based on the combination of non-perturbative regularity properties obtained by exact renormalization Group methods and Ward Identities. The AB property, essential for the renormalizability of the standard model, is therefore a robust feature imposing no constraints on possible symmetry breaking terms, at least in the class of lattice models considered

What Public Policy Can Be: An Interview with Matthew Adler

The Erasmus Journal for Philosophy and Economics(EJPE) interviewed Adler about his formative years (section I); his work on the theoretical foundations of public policy, zooming in onwelfare-consequentialism and social welfare functions(section II), welfarism and interpersonal comparisons(section III), the ethical deliberator and the role of the philosopher (section IV); and, finally, his views and visions for interdisciplinary work in law, economics, and philosophy,as well as his advice for graduate students in the field (section V)

The corporate culture in the management of the business entity ADLER

The goal of the bachelor thesis is to find options to effectuate the activity of a business subject ADLER in a relation to his corporate culture. In the begging of the thesis, the corporate culture is theoretically characterized, its importance, types and trends. Subsequently, the ADLER company is introduced from its establishment to the present time. On the basis of internal documents provided by the owner of the company, the current form of corporate culture in business entity is carefully analysed. The final part of the thesis serves as a direct addressing to individual members, who take their part in the corporate culture. Gradually, the attention is given to the company´s wholesale customers, the main supplier and the employees of the company. The practical part is based on questionnaire survey conducted from the customers and informal interviews with the supplier and the employees. The benefit is the proposal of changes and recommendations, which the company applied in the relation to its customers, supplier and employees, whose effectiveness is further examined.Cílem bakalářské práce je najít možnosti zefektivnění činností podnikatelského subjektu ADLER ve vazbě na jeho firemní kulturu.
