Probability Propagation in Selected Aristotelian Syllogisms
This paper continues our work on a coherence-based probability semantics for Aristotelian syllogisms (Gilio, Pfeifer, and Sanfilippo, 2016; Pfeifer and Sanfilippo, 2018) by studying Figure III under coherence. We interpret the syllogistic sentence types by suitable conditional probability assessments. Since the probabilistic inference of from the premise set is not informative, we add p(M|(S ee M))>0 as a probabilistic constraint (i.e., an ``existential import assumption'') to obtain probabilistic informativeness. We show how to propagate the assigned premise probabilities to the conclusion. Thereby, we give a probabilistic meaning to all syllogisms of Figure~III. We discuss applications like generalised quantifiers (like Most are ) and (negated) default
The Heterogeneous Economic Consequences of Works Council Relations
I use a question about works council relations from the 2006 wave of the IAB Establishment panel to analyze the heterogeneous effects of works councils on productivity, wages, and profits. The results indicate that the effects differ significantly between works council relationship types in a systematic pattern. The overall findings are in line with productivity-enhancing and rent-sharing functions of works councils.Codetermination; Firm performance; Industrial relations; Works councils

DEVELOPMENT OF PROCESSING TECHNOLOGY FOR CLEANING ULTRAFINE TITANIUM DIOXIDE
Imeli smo tri suspenzije ultrafinih delcev titanovega dioksida.
We were trying to develop processing technology for cleaning ultra- fine titanium dioxide. The experiments showed, that the process is effective only if centrifuges are used.
Three different suspensions of ultra-fine titanium dioxide were used. Two of the suspensions had dispersed particles of rutil in different concentrations of acid. In the third suspension dispersed particles of anatas were used.
Before cleaning, the coagulant was added. In this way better results were obtained and the whole separation occured quicker. The whole process was performed in three stages.
First the experiments were performed on laboratory scale and optimal process parameters were determined. Based on these results the process was performed on pilot scale. Based on all obtained parameters and results, a technology scheme was developed and the capacities for the technological process were calculated

Preparation and application of red gypsum adsorbent for waste water treatment
V sklopu priprave adsorbenta smo spreminjali koncentracijsko razmerje vhodnih surovin, temperaturo priprave adsorbenta, čas mešanja, intenziteto mešanja in preverjali učinek različne količine dodanega adsorbenta na potek adsorpcije. Analizirali smo lastnosti adsorbenta in preverili njegovo učinkovitost. As part of the doctoral dissertation, we examined whether it is possible to prepare an effective adsorbent from red gypsum, which is currently waste and burdens the environment, which would be useful for cleaning wastewater of different pH values. The efficiency of individual adsorbents is greatly influenced by the method of synthesis as well as the solution to be cleaned. As part of the preparation of the adsorbent, we changed the concentration ratio of the input raw materials, the temperature of the adsorbent preparation, the mixing time, the intensity of the mixing and checked the effect of different amounts of added adsorbent on the course of adsorption. We analyzed the properties of the adsorbent and checked its effectiveness. The results were compared with the results obtained using zeolite, bentonite and white slag, as well as with the results of various authors
