    Plants of Helichrysum genus belong to Asteraceae family and abound with species. The’re two species of plants of Helichrysum genus in the Astrakhan region – Helichrysum arenarium Moench and Hеlichrisum nogaicum Zvelev that was discovered later and isn’t studied well enough yet. Helichrysum arenarium is a well-known medical plant widely used in both academic and traditional medicine and included into the State Pharmacopoeia. Inflorescences of Helichrysum arenarium produce cholagogic, hemostatic, detoxicating, laxative, anti-inflammatory and diuretic effects, which is due to content of flavonoids, terpenoids and other components. This works shows results of studies of chemical composition of extracted essential oils of Hеlichrisum nogaicum and Helichrysum arenarium growing in the Astrakhan Region. Samples of essential oils of plants under studies have been obtained by steam distillation. Optimal steam distillation process duration has been determined by experiment taking studies of dynamics of essential oil yield change through time as a ground. Quantitative analysis of main components of Helichrysum arenarium and Hеlichrisum nogaicum essential oils has been carried out by gas-liquid chromatography. It has been identified that Helichrysum arenarium essential oil contains 21 substances. Its main components are camphor (14.59%) and carboxylic acids (37.02%), and 1,8-cineole (5.97%). The main components of the oil Helichrisum nogaicum are camphor (38.33%), borneol (14.21%), cineol-1.8 (11.37%) and terpene-4-ol (5.18%), sesquiterpene compounds (6.28%), and the content of carboxylic acids is insignificant and amounts to 6.58%

    Abstract: Extracellular proteinase of the opportunistic Aspergillus fumigatus D-1 strain (molecular weight ~33 kDa, pI 4.6) was isolated. It was shown that proteinase hydrolyzes casein, fibrin, fibrinogen, albumin, and hemoglobin to varying degrees. However, proteolytic activity with respect to globular proteins of blood plasma was comparable to fibrinolytic activity. Proteinase did not coagulate human fibrinogen and bovine fibrinogen; it also did not coagulate human and rabbit blood plasma without dilution and when diluted twice. The plasminogen-activating activity of A. fumigatus D-1 extracellular proteinase was found, which may indicate its ability to indirect fibrinolysis

    [1] The influence of vegetable cover on propagation of electromagnetic waves in the Earthionosphere wave channel is studied in the scope of the model of a homogeneous isotropic "forest layer" with effective value of the dielectric permeability ε f = 1.2 and electric conductivity σ f (t • C) depending on the environmental temperature according to the results obtained in this paper. It is shown that the character of the electromagnetic field behavior in the presence of large forests is of a well-pronounced seasonal character additionally complicated by the diurnal variations of the field depending on the environmental temperature variations.     We carried out the computer simulation of the dependences of mechanical properties of a system consisting of flexible substrate and ferroelectric polymer coating on the degree of bending deformations and on temperature within hybrid discrete-continual model. The substrate is modeled as an elastic medium subjected to the Hooke law. For the description of interaction in the polymer coating, we proposed a discrete model based on Stockmayer potential. We demonstrated that the structural transition from the ordered ferroelectric state into depolarized one occurred with the increase of deformations, and the influence of the surface coating on the properties changes became negligible

    Computer simulation of the mechanical properties of metamaterials

    For a hybrid discrete-continual model describing a system which consists of a substrate and polymer coating, we provide computer simulation of its mechanical properties for various levels of deformations. For the substrate, we apply the elastic model with the Hooke law while for the polymeric coating, we use a discrete model. Here we use the Stockmayer potential which is a Lennard-Jones potential with additional term which describes the dipole interactions between neighbour segments of polymer chains, that is Keesom energy. Using Monte-Carlo method with Metropolis algorithm for a given temperature the equilibrium state is determined. We obtain dependencies of the energy, force, bending moment and Young's modulus for various levels of deformations and for different values of temperature. We show that for the increase of the deformations level the influence of surface coating on the considered material parameters is less pronounced. We provide comparison of obtained results with experimental data on deformations of crystalline polymers (gutta-percha, etc.
