Promoting self-expression through art in 5-7 year old children using the project method
Darba autore ir Latvijas Universitātes Pedagoģijas, psiholoģijas un mākslas fakultātes studente Tatjana Baranova. Diplomdarbs ir veltīts projekta metodes izmantošanai pirmsskolā viena mēneša laikā projekta “Daudzveidīga māksla!” ietvaros. Diplomdarbā projekta metode aplūkota, t. sk., ņemot vērā jauno kompetenču pieeju, kas tika ieviesta Latvijas pirmsskolas izglītības posmā no 2019. gada 1. septembra, kad stājās spēkā MK noteikumi Nr. 716. Esot saskaņā ar jaunajām vadlīnijām, projekta metodei pirmsskolā ir iestājies renesanses laikmets. Autore izstrādāja saturu vienam projektam, pārbaudīja to praksē un pārliecinājās, ka projekta metodes izmantošana Kultūras izpratnes un pašizpausmes mākslā mācību jomā veicina bērnu jaunradi un prasmi izpaust emocijas, kā arī savstarpēji sadarboties. Nepieciešama turpmāka pieredzes apmaiņa un jauns metodiskais līdzeklis.The author of the work is Tatjana Baranova, a student of the Faculty of Pedagogy, Psychology and Art of the University of Latvia. The diploma work is devoted to the use of the project method, examining its use in preschool institution during one month within the project “Diverse Art!”. The project method is examined, inter alia, considering a perspective a new competence approach introduced in the Latvian pre-school education stage from September 1, 2019, when Cabinet Regulation No. 716 came into force. Being in line with the new guidelines, the project method has entered its “Renaissance era” in preschool. The author developed content for one project, tested it in practice and concluded that using the project method in the educational field Cultural Awareness and Self-expression in Art promotes the development of children's creativity and the ability to express emotions, as well as to collaborate with each other. Further exchange of experience and a new methodological tool are needed in the future
Regional climate model simulations (CCLM 5km) for 2017-2020 at Cape Baranova (Severnaya Zemlya, Siberia)
Measurements of the atmospheric boundary layer (ABL) structure for three years (Oct. 2017 – Aug. 2020) were performed at the Russian observatory “Ice Base Cape Baranova” (79.280°N, 101.620°E). ABL measurements were used for verification of the regional climate model COSMO-CLM (CCLM) with 5 km resolution for 2017-2020. CCLM was run with nesting in ERA5 data in a forecast mode for the measurement period. Model output is available every 1h. In the vertical, the model extends up to 22 km with 60 vertical levels. The observatory is located on Bolshevik Island, which is the southernmost island of the Severnaya Zemlya Archipelago. Flow channeling during conditions of a stable boundary layer occur due to the topography on both sides of Shokalsky Strait between Bolshevik Island and October Revolution Island. Research of Sports Coaches’ Methodological Competence in the Professional Development Education Program
Maģistra darba mērķis ir izpētīt sporta treneru metodiskās kompetences pilnveides iespējas profesionālās pilnveides izglītības programmā. Darba autore ir Dita Blumberga, darba vadītāja ir docente, Dr. paed. Sanita Baranova. Mērķa sasniegšanai, veikta normatīvo dokumentu, teorētiskās literatūras analīze; izstrādāta un veikta sporta treneru anketēšana, veikta profesionālo pilnveides izglītības programmu vadītāju intervēšana un veikta pašnovērtējumu ziņojumu analīze, apkopoti pētījuma rezultāti. Izstrādāti ieteikumi metodiskās attīstības pilnveidei profesionālās pilnveides izglītības programmā. Pedagogical support for teenagers with migraine
Darba temats: ''Pedagoģiskā atbalsta modelis pusaudžiem ar migrēnu''. Darba autore: Ieva Sutugova. Darba zinātniskā vadītāja: asoc.prof. Dr. paed. Sanita Baranova. Darba teorētiskajā daļā tiek pētīta un analizēta teorētiskā literatūra par migrēnu un tās izpausmēm pusaudžu vidū, kā arī analizēti līdz šim īstenotie pētījumi par skolas vidi un pedagoģisko darbu ar bērniem, kuri cieš no migrēnas. Darba praktiskajā daļā veikta ārstu intervēšana, izveidota cilvēku, kuri saskārušies ar migrēnu, aptauja, apkopoti un analizēti dati. Izveidots informatīvs materiāls par migrēnu, “Bērnu sāpju anketa’’, tulkota un latviski dublēta filma “Migrēna. Kas tas ir un kā to kontrolēt”. Veikts atbalsta modeļa un tajā izstrādāto materiālu ekspertnovērtējums. An expert evaluation of the developed materials was carried out. The collected research results confirm that a teacher can provide both moral and physical help to teenagers who suffer from migraine both during an attack and in everyday life, and this can contribute to better academic performance and well-being in the school environment. Analyzing the Efficiency of Using Different Chemical Compositions for Intensifying the Phytoextraction Processes of Mercury and Other Heavy Metals Based on Multivariate Image Tools
A method is proposed and multifactorial experiments are carried out to determine the effectiveness of various compositions of chemical additives for intensifying the processes of phytoextraction of mercury and other heavy metals from soils. White creeping clover (lat. Trifolium repens L.) is used as the object of experiment. As a result of a systematic analysis of the results of experiments using the tools of multivariate visualization of large data arrays in the form of various diagrams (petal, line, bubble, and thermal), the following was established: the presence of a positive effect of monoethanolamine salt of thioacetic acid and sodium thiosulfate on phytoextraction of mercury; a pronounced positive effect of Trilon B on the phytoextraction of heavy metals, simultaneously accompanied by a destructive effect on the growth and development of plants; a positive effect on the condition of plants of phytohormone and iron chelate supplements; and the ability of oxyethylidene diphosphonic acid to protect plants from the negative effects of heavy metals
Cooperation between pre-school, school and family in the transition from pre-school to primary school

Darba mērķis ir izpētīt kādu ietekmi uz pirmsskolas vecuma bērniem, vecumposmā no 5-7 gadiem, atstāj mūsdienu jaunās tehnoloģijas. Izvirzīta mērķa sasniegšanai darbā tika izvirzīti šādi uzdevumi: 1.Teorētiski izpētīt literatūru par digitālo tehnoloģiju ietekmi uz 5 – 7 veciem bērniem. 2.Izstrādāt aptauju vecākiem par digitālo tehnoloģiju izmantošanu. 3.Izstrādāt secinājumus un priekšlikumus digitālo tehnoloģiju negatīvās ietekmes mazināšanai uz 5-7 gadus veciem bērniem. 4. Artificial neural networks and translation
Relevance of the issue under study is enough high to worry and speculate about it, because technologies now are reaching the step, there it was not expected to see about 5–6 years ago. The purpose of the article is to understand, is it possible in the near future to make machine translator based Artificial Neural Network (ANN) able to remove live translators. The leading approach to the study is to compare statistical translation, translation by neural network and translation by professional live translator, to see how high quality of translation by machine interpreter. The article considers the basic concepts of ANN, as well as modern artificial translators. The results showed that Artificial Intelligence developed on a very high level, but we are still at a great distance from technologies of that level and near future, it will eliminate professional translators, though, artificial translators influence on increasing level of language knowledge. The article may be useful for people interested in mechanisms of translation and for translators of all levels, as well as for programmers who are interested in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and all kind of translators, who want to know the future of their profession
