Measurement of branching fractions for B → J/ψηK decays and search for a narrow resonance in the J/ψη final state
We report an observation of the B±→J/ψηK± and B0→J/ψηK0S decays using 772×106BB¯¯¯¯ pairs collected at the Υ(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e+e− collider. We obtain the branching fractions B(B±→J/ψηK±)=(1.27±0.11(stat.)±0.11(syst.))×10−4 and B(B0→J/ψηK0S)=(5.22±0.78(stat.)±0.49(syst.))×10−5. We search for a new narrow charmonium(-like) state X in the J/ψη mass spectrum and find no significant excess. We set upper limits on the product of branching fractions, B(B±→XK±)B(X→J/ψη), at 3872MeVc−2 where a C-odd partner of X(3872) may exist, at ψ(4040) and ψ(4160) assuming their known mass and width, and over a range from 3.8 to 4.8GeVc−2. The obtained upper limits at 90% confidence level for XC-odd(3872), ψ(4040), and ψ(4160) are 3.8×10−6, 15.5×10−6, and 7.4×10−6, respectively

Study of Ωc 0 and Ωc * 0 baryons at Belle
We report results from a study of the charmed double strange baryons Ωc 0 and Ωc * 0 at Belle. The Ωc 0 is reconstructed using the Ωc 0 → Ω- π+ decay mode, and its mass is measured to be (2693.6 ± 0.3-1.5 +1.8) MeV / c2. The Ωc * 0 baryon is reconstructed in the Ωc 0 γ mode. The mass difference MΩc* 0 - MΩc0 is measured to be (70.7 ± 0.9-0.9 +0.1) MeV / c2. The analysis is performed using 673 fb-1 of data on and near the Υ{hooked} (4 S) collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e+ e- collider. © 2008 Elsevier B.V. Measurement of the Differential Branching Fraction and Forward-Backward Asymmetry for B→K(*)l+l-
We study B -> Kd(*)l(+)l(-) decays (l = e,u) based on a data sample of 657 x 10(6) B (B) over bar pairs collected with the Belle detector at the KEKB e(+)e(-) collider. We report the differential branching fraction, isospin asymmetry, K* polarization, and the forward-backward asymmetry (A(FB)) as functions of q(2) = M(ll)(2)c(2). The fitted A(FB) spectrum exceeds the standard model expectation by 2.7 standard deviations. The measured branching fractions are B(B -> K*l(+)l(-)) = (10: 7(-1.0)(+1.1)) x 10(-7) and B(B -> Kl(+)l(-)) = (4.8 (+0.5)(-0.4) +/- 0.3) x 10(-7), where the first errors are statistical and the second are systematic, with the muon to electron ratios R-K* = 0.83 +/- 0: 17 +/- 0.08 and R-K = 1.03 +/- 0.19 +/- 0.06.LPH
Search for CP Violation in D-+/- Meson Decays to phi pi(+/-)
We search for CP violation in Cabibbo-suppressed charged D meson decays by measuring the difference between the CP-violating asymmetries for the Cabibbo-suppressed decays D-+/- -> K+K-pi(+/-) and the Cabibbo-favored decays D1/s -> K+K-pi(+/-) in the K+K- mass region of the phi resonance. Using 955 fb(-1) of data collected with the Belle detector, we obtain A(CP)(D+->phi pi+) (+0.51 +/- 0.28 +/- 0.05)%. The measurement improves the sensitivity of previous searches by more than a factor of 5. We find no evidence for direct CP violation.LPH
Observation of the Φ (1680) and the Y(2175) in e+e-→Φ π+π
The cross sections for e+e-→Φ π+π- and e+e-→Φ f0(980) are measured from threshold to s=3.0GeV using initial-state radiation. The analysis is based on a data sample of 673fb-1 collected on and below the Υ(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e+e- collider. First measurements are reported for the resonance parameters of the Φ (1680) in the Φ π+π- mode: m=(1689±7±10)MeV/c2 and Γ=(211±14±19)MeV/c2. A structure at s=2.1GeV/c2, corresponding to the so called Y(2175), is observed; its mass and width are determined to be (2079±13-28+79)MeV/c2 and (192±23-61+25)MeV/c2, respectively. © 2009 The American Physical Society.LPH
Measurement of inclusive radiative B-meson decays with a photon energy threshold of 1.7 GeV
Using 605fb-1 of data collected at the Υ(4S) resonance we present a measurement of the inclusive radiative B-meson decay channel, B→Xsγ. For the lower photon energy thresholds of 1.7, 1.8, 1.9, and 2.0 GeV, as defined in the rest frame of the B meson, we measure the partial branching fraction and the mean and variance of the photon energy spectrum. At the 1.7 GeV threshold we obtain the partial branching fraction BF(B→Xsγ)=(3.45±0. 15±0.40)×10-4, where the errors are statistical and systematic. © 2009 The American Physical Society.LPH
Evidence of a new narrow resonance decaying to in
We report measurements of B→χc1γK and χc2γK decays using 772×106 BB̅ events collected at the Υ(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e+e- collider. Evidence of a new resonance in the χc1γ final state is found with a statistical significance of 3.8σ. This state has a mass of 3823.1±1.8(stat)±0.7(syst) MeV/c2, a value that is consistent with theoretical expectations for the previously unseen 13D2 cc̅ meson. We find no other narrow resonance and set upper limits on the branching fractions of the X(3872)→χc1γ and χc2γ decay
