Performance, política e multiculturalismo no cabaré popular de Astrid Hadad
This article locates the marks of a cabaretera cultural tradition in the text-performance of Astrid Hadad, a mexican contemporary cabaretera. This “tradition” represented by the cabaretera culture in Mexico would come to be reappropriated by Hadad´s reinterpretation. Using references from the imaginary about the cabaret developed by cultural politics of post-revolutionary Mexico, the performer promotes a multicultural discourse in order to denounce the subalternity practices presented in the Mexican and Latin-American historical process. From the use of the Paul Zumthor’s concept of performance in The letter and the voice, we will develop an analisis about the dialogues made by the performer. Her mise-en-scène establishes a inter/transdisciplinary dialogue among literature, cinema, circus, radio and the diva’s universe of the star system.Este artigo pretende problematizar a permanência de uma tradição da cultura cabaretera no texto-performance da cabaretera contemporânea mexicana Astrid Hadad. A partir de referências tomadas do imaginário em torno do cabaré agenciado pelas políticas culturais do México pós-revolucionário, a performer promove um discurso multicultural para denunciar as práticas de subalternização presentes no processo histórico mexicano e latino-americano. Para tanto, partiremos do conceito de performance elaborado por Paul Zumthor em A letra e a voz, para desenvolvermos uma análise dos diálogos travados pela performer/cabaretera. Distributed big data analytics in a smart city
This chapter describes an actual smart city use-case application for advanced mobility and intelligent traffic management, implemented in the city of Modena, Italy. This use case is developed in the context of the European Union's Horizon 2020 project CLASS [4]-Edge and Cloud Computation: A highly Distributed Software for Big Data Analytics. This use-case requires both realtime data processing (data in motion) for driving assistance and online city-wide monitoring, as well as large-scale offline processing of big data sets collected from sensors (data at rest). As such, it demonstrates the advanced capabilities of the CLASS software architecture to coordinate edge and cloud for big data analytics. Concretely, the CLASS smart city use case includes a range of mobility- related applications, including extended car awareness for collision avoidance, air pollution monitoring, and digital traffic sign management. These applications serve to improve the quality of road traffic in terms of safety, sustainability, and efficiency

HADAD: Hexagonal A-Star with Differential Algorithm Designed for weather routing
We present HADAD (Hexagonal A-Star with Differential Algorithm Designed for weather routing), a novel optimization algorithm for weather routing. HADAD conducts a global exploration using an A⋆ search on a hexagonal grid with higher-order neighbors, enhancing directional flexibility and overcoming limitations of traditional graph searches that constrain vessel movements. It then refines the solution using a discrete Newton–Jacobi variational method, ensuring convergence to a locally optimal, smooth route in continuous space. To evaluate the effectiveness of HADAD, we developed a benchmark comprising 1,560 instances over a full year, varying in origin–destination pairs, vessel speeds and oceanographic conditions. Our results show that HADAD outperforms pure A⋆ graph search methods by an extra 4% savings with respect to the shortest-distance route, thanks to more flexible smoother trajectories obtained by gradient descent. In our seasonal study we observe that the savings distribution shows large seasonal variations (double savings on average in winter with respect to summer) and contains a significant number of outliers. Savings reach 27% in these cases of extreme weather events. Validation of the algorithm performed with synthetic vector fields has been conducted. In this setting, the algorithm has been adapted to handle fuel consumption optimization for Just-in-Time arrival. By integrating global search and local optimization, HADAD effectively balances computational efficiency with route optimality, offering a practical and adaptable solution for real-world weather routing applications

Apresentaremos uma discussão acerca da apropriação do coração como um elemento alegórico de reconhecimento de uma identidade coletiva na América Latina. Através do cabaré contemporâneo da performer mexicana Astrid Hadad, de origem maya-libanesa, apontaremos uma crítica a uma política de controle e organização dos parâmetros de gênero. A experiência de colonização na América Latina foi pautada pelas estratégias de um discurso encaminhado pela utilização do coração como uma importante alegoria de apassivamento e subalternização, sobretudo da mulher. Em seu videoclipe Corazón Sangrante, assumindo as estratégias articuladas em torno do melodrama, Hadad se arma da ambiguidade própria da ironia para problematizar a discussão, apontando a permanência de um registro colonial no interior da cultura mexicana contemporânea.In this article, we present a discussion about the use of the heart as an important allegorical element of recognition of a collective identity in Latin America. The work of Astrid Hadad, a Mexican performer-cabaretera, of Maya-Lebanese origin, points to the criticism of a control policy that organizes gender models in Mexico. The experience of colonization in Latin America was guided by discursive strategies which employed the heart as an important allegory of subordination, especially that of women. In her video clip Corazón Sangrante, using the linguistic strategies of the melodrama, Hadad uses the ambiguity of irony to approach this issue, pointing to colonial marks in the contemporary Mexican culture
Adaptabilidad y completitud en procesos de requisitos
La estrategia de definición de requisitos de software orientada al cliente, que se ha desarrollado en proyectos de investigación precedentes, no ha sido suficientemente documentada y presenta un problema de contextualización para distintas situaciones. En relación con el primer aspecto, se continuarán los trabajos ya iniciados de redacción de un manuscrito, que se aspira finalice en un libro. En relación con el segundo aspecto, se profundizará el estudio de las variantes en el proceso de requisitos. Estas variantes toman como aspecto decisorio la naturaleza del proyecto, su tamaño y la complejidad del dominio, entre otros factores, para decidir qué modelos son necesarios construir o no, y qué técnicas conviene aplicar o no. Dentro de estas técnicas, se considera que la asignación de prioridades es fundamental para encarar hoy en día con éxito un desarrollo de software. Se detallará un mecanismo de generación de trazas que acompañe a cada actividad del proceso de requisitos. Asimismo, se continuarán los trabajos sobre el problema de completitud en ingeniería de requisitos, utilizando enfoques estadísticos sobre la base de un análisis semántico previo. Todas estas tareas de investigación tienden a lograr una mayor integración de las distintas actividades del proceso de requisitos y a una mejor evaluación de su eficacia y eficiencia.

An Epistemic Analysis of Time Phenomenon
In this work we present an epistemic analysis of time phenomenon using the
mathematical machinery of information theory and modular theory. By adopting
limited commitment to the ontology of time evolution, and instead by mainly
relying on the information that is in principle accessible to the observer, we
find that the most primary aspect of the temporal experience, the perceived
distinctiveness across the states of the world, emerges as a purely epistemic
function. By analyzing the mathematical properties of this epistemic function,
we interpret it to be in principle insensitive to any ontic state of the world,
which leads to the conclusion that the observer is subject to temporal
experience irrespective of whether the underlying state of the world is
dynamical or invariant. On the ground of the presented analysis, we also
provide a solution to the conceptual challenge of non-equilibrium phenomena
that faces the thermal time hypothesis
Microsolvation of F-
A staggering structural diversity for the microsolvation of F- with up to six water molecules is uncovered in this work. Given the structural variety and the proximity in energy among several local minima, we show here that in order to match available experimental data, statistical averages over contributing structures are needed, rather than assigning experimental values to isolated structures. Our results suggest that the formal charge in F- is strong enough as to induce partial and total dissociation of water molecules and to alter the nature of the surrounding network of water to water hydrogen bonds. We provide an extensive analysis of bonding interactions under the NBO and QTAIM formalisms, our main results suggest a complex interplay between ionic and covalent characters for the F?H interactions as a function of the separation between the atoms. © 2018 the Owner Societies
