No full text[EN] The project “Planar architecture all solid state batteries” (PLARASBAT) has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement no 4023.
The project involves the research in the properties of solid electroactive materials and interfaces. For the development of a reliable all solid state battery (ASSB), the knowledge of the properties (electrical, structural, micro-structural) of the different components (electrodes, electrolytes, interfaces electrode / electrolyte) of the battery must be known. As the way of preparing an ASSB is different to that of the conventional batteries using liquid electrolytes, there are many information about the intrinsic properties of the components in ceramic form that is not available as this components were used in powder form in the conventional batteries. Besides the formation of the electrode/electrolyte interface should be done using relative high temperatures, and so the stability of the components in order to produce a clean electrochemically active interface is challenging.
During the development of the project many electrodes, electrolytes and interfaces will be characterized and most of the results will be published, but the large amount of data produced can be collected and order to be accessible to the scientific community.
The project will generate data on structural (DRX), electrical, MNR and micro-structural characterization. The formats can be graphics plots, raw data files and figures.
Re-using of existing data is not planned, most probably existing data will be used as hints for the properties of solid electroactive materials and interfaces. For example: https://materialsproject.org/
The data will be produced by the different groups in the consortium, that have an specific role, related to their expertise.
Data are in the order of magnitude of 500 MB – 1GB.
The data generated and collected during the development of the "PLARASBAT" project, can be useful for scientist working in the preparation of Li conducting solid electrolytes as well as in the preparation and characterization of anodes and cathodes for Li secondary batteries. It is important to stress that the data generated in the characterization of solid electrolyte / electrode interfaces are very interesting for the development of reliable ASSBs.PLARASBAT) has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement no 4023.
