RATIFICATION, RECTIFICATIONS AND POSSIBLE IMPLICATIONS OF THE MAPUTO PROTOCOL ON WOMEN'S RIGHTS IN CAMEROON
Abstract: Based on a legal analysis of the Maputo Protocol on Women’s Rights in Cameroon, the work analyses both the positive and negative impacts of the Maputo Protocol, proposed rectifications, criticisms raised after ratification and possible implications on women’s rights in Cameroon. Ratification by Cameroon poses relative problems. The methodology adopted includes collecting archival material from academic research and legal discipline. Findings show that most women lack knowledge of the Maputo Protocol’s existence and thus are unaware of its relevance and applicability. The work benefits governments, women groups, and legal scholars.
Keywords: Maputo Protocol, Women’s Rights, legal discipline, women groups, legal scholars.

Language Teachers, Cultural Content and Intercultural Competence
Abstract: The aim of this paper is to investigate the teacher's perception of the objectives of language teaching and the cultural contents in the curricula. It also seeks to find whether developing intercultural competence among learners is among the teacher's perceived language teaching objectives and the extent to which their classroom practices reflect that objective. The findings have shown that most of the informants were linguistically oriented and that their primary objective of teaching English is to enable students to acquire communicative competence. They perceive teaching culture in terms of knowledge transfer and they favor teacher-centred mode of teaching to student-centred. Interestingly, most of the informants expressed their willingness to interculturalize their teaching although their classroom practices do not reflect intercultural competence teaching.
Keywords: intercultural competence, cultural content, language teachers, teaching practices, culture teaching activities.

Effective Information Security Awareness Emails
Abstract: What are the factors that affect the awareness emails? How do I know if my emails have been read by the employees or not? How can a department protect critical information resources through efficient awareness? What types of procedures work best for an organization? These types of questions are commonly heard nowadays. Strong security awareness programs are the first line of defence against cybersecurity attacks. Because no matter how many tools an organization uses, there is always room for development. In this paper, we will discuss some of the crucial security awareness aspects that could influence behavioural shifts for the better.

A Review on Antibiotic Use in Livestock
Abstract: Antibiotics are drugs to inhibit or kill growth of microorganisms in animal diseases. The farmers commonly use antibiotics in livestock for prevention of animal disease and growth promotion. Usage of antibiotics in livestock can leave antibiotic residues in meats and food-animal products. The most important adverse effect of antibiotic residues is the transfer of antibiotic resistant bacteria to the humans due to the mobile properties of resistance. Besides, it can contaminate the environment too. It has been obviously found that the problem of drug resistance arises from many factors related to humans, animals, and the environment. This review focused on antibiotic use in livestock.
Keywords: Antibiotic resistance, livestock, food, health, bacteria.
