Reef 2050 Integrated Monitoring and Reporting Program: Meeting outcomes
REFER TO "REEF 2050 INTEGRATED MONITORING AND REPORTING PROGRAM: COMMUNIQUES" FOR FURTHER INFORMATION PERTAINING TO MEETING OUTCOMES.
A key component of the Reef 2050 Plan is the establishment of the Reef 2050 Integrated Monitoring and Reporting Program.
The Program will provide a comprehensive and up-to-date understanding of the Great Barrier Reef – the values and processes that support it, and the threats that affect it.
The Program’s principal purpose is to evaluate whether the Reef 2050 Plan is on track to meet its targets and outcomes, and enable timely and suitable responses by Reef managers and partners to emerging issues and risks.

[Extract] The monitoring program is the key mechanism to track the progress of the Australian and Queensland governments’ 35-year plan — the Reef 2050 Plan — to protect the Great Barrier Reef. It will bring together monitoring, modelling and reporting activities across the Reef and its catchment and will enable timely and appropriate responses by Reef managers and partners to emerging risks and issues

In addition, transport model versions in the transport planning software VISUM were published on Zenodo containing road and public transport volumes on networks. Available are models of the average workday traffic (monday to friday, so called DWV) and for the average daily traffic (monday-sunday, so called DTV - only available for the scenario BASIS). Projecting the World Economy to 2050: Agriculture in the Economy-wide GTAP Model
Recent analyses of the possible adverse effects of climate change and policy responses on agriculture and mining have raised food and energy security concerns in both rich and poorer countries. Analysing possible effects of ways of dealing with those concerns requires first projecting the world economy forward to 2050 and beyond. This paper provides as background a set of projections to 2050, drawing on the global economy-wide model known as GTAP. The projection is calibrated to ensure the real prices of primary products remain broadly unchanged from their levels in the model's base year of 2004. Alternative scenarios could have been calibrated to show (a) rising real prices for both food and energy raw materials (consistent with forecasts of several international agencies), by assuming some slowdown in productivity growth in primary sectors, or (b) declining real prices for agricultural and mining products (consistent with the experience of most of the 20th century), by assuming somewhat faster productivity growth in primary sectors. The set of projections shown for 2030 and 2050 is thus an intermediate set. The key impacts on international prices, agricultural self-sufficiency, sectoral shares of national economies and national shares of the global economy are highlighted. Electricity Network Scenarios for Great Britain in 2050
The next fifty years are likely to see great developments in the technologies deployed in electricity systems, with consequent changes in the structure and operation of power networks. This paper, which forms a chapter in the forthcoming book Future Electricity Technologies and Systems, develops and presents six possible future electricity industry scenarios for Great Britain, focussed on the year 2050. The paper draws upon discussions of important technologies presented by expert authors in other chapters of the book to consider the impact of different combinations of key influences on the nature of the power system in 2050. For each scenario there is a discussion of the effects of the key parameters, with a description and pictorial illustration. Summary tables identify the role of the technologies presented in other chapters of the book, and list important figures of interest, such as the capacity and energy production of renewable generation technologies
Summary baseline for AMMA-2050
The report forms a summary baseline for AMMA-2050, supporting the monitoring of impacts over the course of the four-year project. The contents are structured around the programme's logframe, outlining baselines for the project in terms of impacts, outcomes and outputs. Data to inform the baseline are drawn from a range of sources including: a summary of current scientific knowledge about future climate in West Africa; a range of project activities, including stakeholder engagement meetings and a series of key informant interviews; and a number of complementary initiatives

Modelling Urban scale Retrofit, Pathways to 2050 Low Carbon Residential Building Stock
A bottom up engineering modelling approach has been used to investigate the pathways to 2050 low carbon residential building stock. The impact of housing retrofit, renewable technologies, occupant behaviour, and grid decarbonisation is measured at a local authority scale. The results of this exercise were visualised using a client web application, or ‘demonstrator,’ which was developed to allow stakeholders to engage with the modelling process
