Brabyn''-- handwritten in pencil on verso of mount.; Acquired with: Portrait of a lady, possibly of the Brabyn family, and: Portrait of four children, possibly of the Brabyn family, carrying toys.; Identity and nationality of both the sitter and the artist are uncertain.
