    This bachelor thesis deals with testing the accuracy of total stations Leica TCRA 1203+ R400 and Thrimble M3 5'' according to the processes outlined in the norm ČSN ISO 17123 Optics and optical instruments - Field procedure for testing geodetic and surveying instruments - Part 3: Theodolites and ČSN ISO 17123 Optics and optical instruments - Field procedure for testing geodetic and surveying instrument - Part 4: Electro-optical distance meters (EDM). The aim is to determine the accuracy of measurement of horizontal directions, zenith angles and lenghts. To determine the accuracy, the test point field was built in the University of South Bohemia.     U radu se opisuje postupak određivanja preciznosti mjerenja horizontalnih pravaca i duljina motoriziranom mjernom stanicom Topcon GMT-100, prema važećim ISO normama 17123-3 i 17123-4. Za određivanje preciznosti horizontalnih pravaca mjereno je pet pravaca u tri girusa, u četiri serije mjerenja. Mjerenje duljina provedeno je na Kalibracijskoj bazi Geodetskog fakulteta u Zagrebu. Duljine su mjerene između sedam stupova, u svim kombinacijama. Rezultati ispitivanja empirijska su standardna odstupanja horizontalnih pravaca i duljina. Izračunana je i adicijska korekcija instrumenta.The paper explains field procedures for determining the precision of the horizontal directions and distances of motorized total station Topcon GMT-100, according to current ISO standards 17123-3 and 17123-4. For determining the precision of horizontal directions five directions in three sets and in four series have been measured. Measuring of horizontal distances has been carried out on calibration baseline of the Faculty of Geodesy in Zagreb. Distances were measured between seven pillars. All combinations have been measured. Experimental standard deviation of horizontal directions and distances, and zero point correction are the results of this examination

    Artykuł poświęcony jest analizie sposobów testowania instrumentów geodezyjnych zgodnie z normami serii ISO 17123, z których 7 zostało przetłumaczonych na język polski i przyjętych jako Polskie Normy. W normach zaleca się wykonanie testów pomiarowych instrumentów przed ich użyciem do konkretnej pracy. Celem testów jest sprawdzenie, czy dokładność pomiaru danym egzemplarzem instrumentu jest zgodna z dokładnością podaną przez producenta. Artykuł zawiera uwagi odnośnie sposobów testowania instrumentów geodezyjnych zgodnie z procedurami podanymi w normach. Przedstawiono zakładane dla różnych rodzajów instrumentów pola testowe. Szczególną uwagę zwrócono na analizę statystyczną wyników testów. Chociaż normy nie przewidują zmian w organizacji pól testowych i programach obliczeń, autorzy artykułu przedstawiają propozycje modyfikacji niektórych fragmentów norm. W przypadku gdy takich propozycji jest więcej, ISO wprowadza nowe, poprawione normy i wycofuje stare, co do których użytkownicy mieli zastrzeżenia. Dzięki takim opiniom zrewidowano normy 17123-1 oraz 17123-5 w wersji angielskiej. Nie zostały one jeszcze przetłumaczone i przyjęte jako Polskie Normy.This article presents a practical analysis of the ways geodetic instruments are tested in accordance with the standards of ISO 17123, seven of which have been translated into Polish and adopted as standards in Poland. The standards recommend that measurement tests of instruments be carried out prior to instruments being used for particular work. The objective of testing is to verify whether measurement accuracy of a given instrument agrees with the level of accuracy guaranteed by the manufacturer. The article provides information on methods of testing geodetic instruments in accordance with the procedures described in the standards. Techniques for establishing field tests for various kinds of instruments are presented with special attention on the statistical analysis of the tests results. Although the standards do not provide for changes to the organization of testing fields or calculation programs, suggestions are presented for modifying certain parts of the standards. When suggestions are received for making amendments, ISO introduces updated standards replacing the former standards that were in question by users. In this way, two of the 17123 series of standards were revised in the English version. They have not yet been translated or adopted into the Polish standards

    This diploma thesis deals with testing the accuracy of the Sokkia C320 leveling device according to the standard ČSN ISO 17123-2: Optics and optical devices - Field procedures for testing geodetic and measuring devices - Part 2: Leveling devices. It also deals with testing the accuracy of the total station Trimble M3 DR5 according to the standard ČSN ISO 17123-5: Optics and optical instruments - Field procedures for testing geodetic and measuring instruments - part 5: Electronic tachometers. In the theoretical part I try to describe the methods of testing devices according to standards. I also describe the basic equipment for measurement and methods of their use. In the practical part I deal with the description, calculations and explanation of the actual testing of the above devices. In the end, I present a general summary and outputs of individual measurement measurements

    The subject of the article is to compare the accuracy of targeting implemented in two manners – manual and automatic. The study was conducted based on international standard ISO 17123-3 for two theodolites equipped with the automatic target recognition system. The paper discusses surveying procedure – a full testing procedure, which allows to determine the actual accuracy of the tested instruments. The obtained values are the basis for conducting statistical tests that allow to verify the presented hypothesis.Tematem artykułu jest porównanie dokładności celowania wykonywanego dwoma sposobami – manualnym i automatycznym. Badania przeprowadzono na podstawie międzynarodowej normy ISO 17123-3 dla dwóch teodolitów wyposażonych w system automatycznego rozpoznawania celu. W pracy omówiono procedurę pomiarową – pełną procedurę testową, która pozwala wyznaczać rzeczywiste dokładności badanych instrumentów. Uzyskane wartości stanowią podstawę do przeprowadzenia testów statystycznych, które pozwalają na zweryfikowanie stawianej hipotezy
