Application of Insurance Principles According to the Book of Trade Law and Law Number 40 of 2014
Public awareness of the importance of protecting oneself from various risks, which may occur at any time, is one of the causes for the presently high number of insurance users. Risks can result in loss of life or property. This is an advantage for insurance companies that provide insurance services. Insurance is created by the agreement between an Insurance Party and an Insured Party. An insurance agreement is made in the form of a written agreement called a policy. A policy contains rights and obligations for its parties. The Insurance Regulations are found in Article 246 of the Commercial Law and Law Number 40 of 2014. In the provisions of Commercial Law, Insurance must contain insurance principles, namely the Principle of Insurable Interest, the Principle of Utmost Good Faith, the Principle of Indemnity, the Principle of Subrogation, the Principle of Contribution, and the Principle of Proxima Causa. In practice, not all insurance principles apply to insurance agreements. Not applying the principles of insurance results in losses for the insured, i.e. the compensation is not paid to the insured. The issue is that while the application of insurance principles is only aimed at the insured, the guarantor is not, thus causing injustice for the parties. Issues raised in this writing are the Application of Insurance Principles in accordance with the provisions of the prevailing laws and regulations, and the procedures carried out by the Insured in obtaining compensation. The purposes of this paper are to ensure that the principles of insurance are applied in accordance with the provisions of the applicable regulations so that the compensation received by the insured is not obstructed; and to explain what procedures are carried out by the insured in obtaining compensation. The legal research method that will be used by the author is empirical juridical. This is a type of empirical research done by examining primary data from interviews comprising questions related to the application of insurance principles, while also juridically using secondary data to analyse the rules and regulations relating to insuranc
Manajemen Arsip Elektronik pada Unit Penerimaan Mahasiswa Baru Universitas Cokroaminoto Palopo
This research aims to implement a digital archive management system in the admission unit of new students of cokroaminoto palopo University which is expected to be one of the solutions in an effort to emphasize the obstacles faced in archive management that result in the difficulty of searching for new student archives caused by the accumulation of archives or archives that are not managed with a good storage system, the loss of archives, and as an effort to utilize technology, archive management requires a system that is used to facilitate archive management. Systems that are no longer conventional but have utilized technology that uses electronic media based on the use of computers. The object of the research is the New Student Admission Unit of Cokroaminoto Palopo University and the type of research conducted by the author is a type of development research or Research and Development (RD). This research aims to develop an archive system at the New Student Admission Unit of Cokroaminoto Palopo University. Electronic archival system in the New Student Admission unit of Cokroaminoto Palopo University must be supported by the use of electronic archival system devices, namely hardware and software. The hardware used is a set of computers, scanners, UPS, and software used, namely website-based applications with intranet and internet networks. Processes in electronic archival systems include scanning processes, editing processes and storage processes
Extracellular matrix types and distribution of pattern differentiation of ameloblastoma based on histopathological type appearance
Background. The stromal tumor as Extracellular Matrix (ECM) of Ameloblastoma is
a complex structures surrounding intercellular and extracellular that supporting cells motility
and regulation of cell proliferation, cells shape, and their function in connective tissue.
Histological appearance of Ameloblastoma ECM particularly are fibrocollagen and
fibromyxoid. The activation of stromal tumor predicted to increase tumor aggressiveness by
stimulation of angiogenesis and invasiveness. Several author reported that there were several
pattern of stromal tumor in the body such as focal, network and spindle pattern. Purpose. The
purpose of this study to identify and analyze the ameloblastic stromal tumor pattern and their
distribution based on their histological appearance type. Methods. Using fifteen paraffin
embedded tissue taken from Jember district hospital that were surgically treatment from year
2010 to 2014 and diagnosed as ameloblastoma. All specimen cutted 4 µm and then performed
HE and Mallory trichrome staining. All cases observed and analyzed using light microscope
with cubical micrometer scale (graticulae) 400x magnification. Results. ECM pattern of
Ameloblastoma cases were 5 cases plexiform type showed network pattern, 1 case was focal
pattern and another case was spindle. Whereas 4 cases of follicular type showed spindle
pattern, 2 cases were network pattern and 2 cases were focal. Conclusion. The stromal tumor
of ameloblastoma types particularly network pattern (54%) that distributed between tumor
nest, this pattern perhaps due to local invasiveness and aggressiveness
