    This study aims to describe the structure, social cognition, contexts of the discourse on the 'Bingkai' Suara Muhammadiyah magazine so the readers know and understand contain of the meaning in the discourse as well as the implementation of Indonesian teaching materials. This research is a qualitative approach to the critical analysis of Van Dijk models. The subject of this study is the menu 'Bingkai' of the magazine which published Dr. Haedar Nasir’s writings. The conclusion is that the three research sample texts, have the macro structure /thematic different. The theme of texs 1 is to strangther character, while text 2 builds civilization, and text 3 is about the struggle of values. The superstructure /schematic, preliminary those text displays that contains a description of the problems in life are developed with the subtitle contains the concepts, examples, and the anticipation /solution. The micro structure of the texts includes the text contains semantic elements background, detailed, and intent. Among the texts used syntactic elements of lexicon which are almost same in the form of diction / word straight forward and there are some persuasive expression. Stylistic form of figure of speech paradox and satire is more dominant in among the texts. Social cognition, suggests that the text is an expression of the author who is associated with the establishment of Muhammadiyah ideology. Contexts analysis, describes the condition of the Indonesia people who have various problems. One of the reason is the weakening commitment especially Muhammadiyah members so it changes the values, outlook and attitude in life. Therefore, discourse of "Bingkai" is a means of understanding and reinforcement of the ideology. The writer hopes that can implements the results of the analysis as Indonesian teaching materials in speaking competence forhigh school students in the competence of expressing ideas, feedback, and information in a discussion

    Problems in this classroom action research are: Can pop song as a learning media improve enthusiasm and result of learning to write short story of twelfth grade students of social science class 2 SMA Negeri 1 Andong, Boyolali? The purpose of this study is: to improve the enthusiasm and the result of learning to write short story of twelfth grade students of social science class 2 SMA Negeri 1 Andong, Boyolali. The benefits of this research are (1) for the students, improving the enthusiasm and result of learning to write short story, (2) for the teacher, can find the correct way of writing short story to increase enthusiasm and result of learning. This research was conducted through two cycles that is, in cycle 1, the action taken is the application of song exploration media determined by the teacher and on the 2nd cycle of action is the application of the song exploration media chosen by the students themselves. This study was conducted for 6 months starting from July to December 2010, the subject of Classroom Action Research was conducted in Social Science Class 2 with a number of 40 students of SMA Negeri 1 Andong Boyolali. Method and research design using description method. The data analysis used is descriptive analysis by comparing the value of pre-cycle, with cycle 1 and cycle 2. The results showed that students' enthusiasm increased significantly from Pre-cycle 62.75% to 73.75% in Cycle 1 and increased again to 95.25% in Cycle 2. While the result of learning to write short story increased significantly from 12.50% (5 students) complete at Pre-cycle stage to 47.50% (19 students) complete in Cycle 1 and increased to 97.50% (39 students) complete in Cycle 2. Thus, the hypothesis that the author propose in this class action research "Pop song as a medium of learning can improve enthusiasm and the results of learning to write short stories of twelfth grade students of Social Science Class 2 SMA Negeri 1 Andong, Boyolali" proved
