Peningkatan Kesejahteraan Nelayan Melalui Usaha Pengolahan Ikan Asin
Penduduk di Desa Banjaranyar Kecamatan Paciran Kebupaten mayoritas bekerja di sektor
nelayan karena wilayah mereka yang berbatasan langsung dengan laut utara samudra Hindia,
ikan-ikan yang di dapat oleh para nelayan adalah mempunyai jenis yang banyak dan bermacammacam,
mulai ikan yang besar seperti hiu, tuna, dan lain-lain. Mereka juga mendapatkan ikan-ikan
kecil seperti tetet, gembong, baes, jui dan lain sebagainya, ikan-ikan kecil yang tidak mempunyai
harga jual tinggi di kelola oleh sabagian warga yang mempunyai inisiatif untuk di jadikan ikan asin
yang mempunyai harga jual yang lumayan tinggi kalau sudah di olah menjadi ikan asin.
Dengan berdirinya usaha pengolahan ikan asin secara tidak langsung membantu menurunkan
angka penganguran yang ada di Desa Banjaranyar terutama istri para nelayan, karena dengan
adanya tempat pengolahan ikan asin tersebut dapat membantu keuangan kelurga untuk
mencukupi kebutuhan mereka sehari-hari. Ketika musim paceklik para keluarga nelayan biasanya
mensiasati dengan hutang ataupun mengadaikan barang di tempat pengadaian, namun dengan istri
mereka bekerja di tempat pengolahan ikan asin para keluarga nelayan pada saat musim paceklik
tidak ada yang hutang lagi, keluarga nelayan dapat mencukupi kebutuhan keluarga dari
pengahasilan istri yang bekerja di tempat pengolahan ikan asin
Community Development In Productive Village Through Entrepreneurship Of Rosary
The problem of unemployment and poverty is still a major problem faced by Indonesia.
Unemployment and poverty is a multidimensional issue, not only just a mere economic problem
but also social issues, culture and politics. In an effort to overcome the problem of poverty and
unemployment that occurred in Indonesia, the government, in this case KEMENAKERTRAN
(Ministry of Manpower) of the Republic of Indonesia has launched the program of developing 132
productive villages in all 33 provinces in Indonesia, with the objective of creating job
opportunities and employment in rural areas, as well as developing the villages through the
products that have been produced. In the course of development of the 132 productive rural,
Tutul Village, Balung District, Jember Regency, is one of the villages that has been successfully
launched and formalized as a productive village in the national level by KEMENAKERTRAN on
January 19, 2013. Tutul Village is an example of a productive village where there are efforts to
develop community from the people to manage and develop the potential of the local economy
which is owned by Village Tutul. The potential of the entrepreneurship possessed is in the form of
rosary and accessories handicraft that are managed by most people of Tutul. With the
independence, creativity, expertise and joint efforts of the communities to manage the potential
that exists in Tutul Village, it finally affects the increase of its productivity and social welfar
UPAYA BERTAHAN HIDUP LANSIA PENGAMBIL SAMPAH DALAM MEMENUHI
Waster pickers have already been widely met in Karangrejo Village, Banyuwangi Regency, but most of them are
elderlies who should not do such heavy work. Waste picker elderlies can be found at 02.00 until 05.00 a.m.. The income
they get per day is uncertain. This research applied a qualitative approach, and the research type is descriptive research.
The research location was in Karangrejo Village, Banyuwangi Regency. Data were collected by non-participant
observation method. Data analysis applied data collection, data transcription, coding, data categorization, temporary
conclusion, triangulation, final conclusion drawing. For data validity, triangulation of source was used. The results
showed that the effort made by elderlies to meet the family needs was that they did their main job as watse waste pickers.
In addition, they also made efforts to meet the needs of his family by (1) diversifying the job into two, namely as
scavengers and other jobs, for example, as bird repellents in the fields and helping neighbors; (2) optimizing
product/value added, that is, the elderlies sold the garbage to special places; (3) building social network i.e. the
elderlies built trust in order that they could borrow money from neighbors and relatives
