    Central Java Province has abundant human resources, but with abundant resources it does not ensure good quality. Efforts to find out human quality are used by measuring instruments called HDI, and there are several factors that are predicted to have an influence on the HDI, namely economic growth, government spending, income disparity and inflation. This study aims to analyze the effect of economic growth, government spending, income disparity and inflation on the human development index in the Central Java Regency / City in 2013-2017. The type of data used in this study is combined secondary data from cross section data and time series data from 2010-2017. The data used is obtained from the official website of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The analytical method used is panel data regression analysis. The results showed that the variable economic growth, government spending and inflation had a significant influence on the human development index, while the income disparity variable did not have a significant effect on the human development index. The government in increasing the human development index must be more focused and wise on equitable economic growth, government spending and income disparity. In addition, it is hoped that the government can reduce inflation in accordance with the initial goal, namely for the welfare of societ

    Abstract This study entitled "Analysis of Determination of Leading Sectors on Economic Growth in the Ngawi Region, East Java Province, 2013-2018". This study aims to analyze the leading sectors and economic growth in Ngawi Regency in 2013-2018. The data used is secondary data in the form of GRDP of Ngawi Regency and East Java Province which is obtained from BPS Ngawi City and East Java Province at constant prices in 2010 for 2013-2018. In this study using Locationt Qoutient (LQ) analysis, Shift Share Estaban Marquillas, and Klassen Typology. From the results of research using Location Qoutient (LQ), it can be shown that the economic growth of Ngawi Regency is dominated by seven leading sectors which are the basic sectors, which have the highest value, namely the agricultural, plantation, forestry and fisheries sectors. For the results of research analysis Shift Share Estaban Marquillas main leading sectors that become economic growth, namely the sectors of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries. Klassen typology analysis shows that the economy of Ngawi Regency when compared to East Java, the transportation and warehousing sectors are in the advanced and growing sectors, while the agriculture, forestry and fisheries sectors are in advanced but depressed sectors.     This study aims to analyze the effect of the Gender Development Index, Gender Empowerment Index, Woman’s Life Expectancy, and Average Length of Schoolling for Woman on Gross Regional Domestic Product in the Malang Metropolitan Area in 2016-2020. The study uses secondary date in form of panel data (a combination of time series date and cross section date), which are observations from 8 regencies/cities in the Malang Metropolitan Area, during 2016 to 2020, on Gross Regional Domestic Product date, Gender Development Index, Gender Empowerment Index, Woman’s Life Expectancy, and Average Length of Schoolling for Woman. The date obtained comes from the Central Statistics Agency. The results of the analysis show that the Gender Development Index has a negative effect on the Gross Regional Domestic Product and the Woman’s Life Expectancy has a positive effect on the Gross Regional Domestic Product. Meanwhile, the Gender Empowerment Index and the Average Length of Schooling for woman have no effect on the Gross Regional Domestic Product in the Malang Metropolitan Area in 2016-2020

    Openness to trade is the result of the total number of exports and imports of goods and services measured as a share of gross domestic product. Batam City as a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) is an area that has certain boundaries and is unique in geoeconomics and geostrategy. Trade openness that occurs in the city of Batam tends to be slow and has decreased from 2001-2020, causing the economy in Batam to become less stable. This study aims to estimate the effect of economic growth, labor and foreign investment on trade openness in Batam City in 2001-2020 using multiple regression analysis using the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) approach. The results of this study indicate that the variable number of workers has a negative effect on openness. while GRDP and foreign investment have no effect on trade openness in Batam City in 2021–2020. The suggestion that can be given in this research is that the Batam City government is expected to further improve the quality of the workforce through various training activities and make policies that favor entrepreneurs who trade or export which in the end investors are interested in investing their capital so that it can increase trade openness and growth. economy in Batam City

    The purpose of regional development is to improve the standard of living and welfare of the community. Therefore, local governments must strive to improve the welfare of the community. Improving community welfare can be done through developing existing potential through superior commodities. The purpose of this study was to find out the analysis of the superior primary out the superior primary sector of Sragen District and its spatial distribution in 2016- 2017. The method used in this study is to use Dynamic Location Quotient (DLQ) and Geographic Information System (SIG). The data used in the form of Sragen Regency primary commodity production data in 2016-2017 and primary commodity production data for Central Java ProvinceS 2016-2017. From the result if the analysis, it can be concluded that from the result of DLQ, the primary sector which is the leading commodity is green beans, large chillies, tomatoes, kale, eggplant, watermelon, bananas and aquaculture. Wheareas based on thr geographich information system approach model shows that superior primary commodity of green beans is spread in the Tanon Region. Chili spread in the Kedawung area, Tanon, Plupuh, Gemolong, Gondang, Kalijambe, Karangmalang, Masaran, Miri, Ngrampal, Sambungmacan, Sambirejo, Sumberlawang and Sukodono. Tomatoes spread in the Gemolong area, Sidoharjo and Tanon. Kale spread in the Miri area, Mondokan, Sukodono. Eggplant spread in the Mondokan area, Sambungmacan and Tangen. Semangka tersebar di wilayah Plupuh and Sumberlawang. Watermelon spread in the Plupuh dan Sumberlawang area. Bananas spread in the Gemolong, Gesi, Gondang, Jenar, Kalijambe, Kedawung, Masaran, Miri, Mondokan, Ngrampal, Plupuh, Sambirejo, Sambungmacan, Sukodono, Sumberlawang, Tangen and Tanon

    This study entitled “ UMR effect panel data analysis, and the output value of the business unit in the labor market in large and medium industries in Central Java in 2011-2013”. The objective is to analyze the conditions of employment of large and medium industries, the effect of the minimum wage, the output value, total value of effort and investment on the absorption of energy in Central Java in 2011-2013. The dependent variable in the form of the workforce (TK) , while the independent variables such as the minimum wage (UMR), the output value (Q), the number of business units (COMP), and investments (INV). This study uses secondary data with panel data regression analysis techniques. The result showed that the Fixed Effects Model (FEM) is a npanel data regression model is most appropriate. Based on test validity or the effect of the t test, the minimum wage and investment has no significant effect on employment, while the value of output and the number of business units significant positive effect on employment.     The development of the Islamic capital market in Indonesia is increasing. Appraisers of market capitalization through the company's stock price are valued at companies and macroeconomic factors. This research uses book value, debt equity ratio, asset return, interest rate, and exchange rate which are considered against the value of 30 small shares in the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) in 2014- 2018 which are processed using panel data regression analysis. Jakarta Islamic Index (JII). The results of this study illustrate the book value, debt equity ratio, return on assets, interest rates, and exchange rates. The ratio has a significant positive effect on stock prices, asset returns have a significant positive effect on stock prices, interest rates have a significant negative effect on stock prices, while the exchange rate has a positive effect on stock prices

    The increasing interest of the public to enjoy ready-to-eat food has caused many new companies to emerge in the food and beverage sector because they consider the food and beverages industry sector to have favorable prospects both now and in the future. One of the performance parameters based on the total overall performance of a company is called efficiency, which is the ability to get a very minimal level of input to produce a certain level of output. The analysis method uses quantitative analysis by processing data in the form of input and output with a Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) analysis tool that experiences an efficient level (TE) = 1. The variables used in this study are asset output, income, gross profit and net income variables while the profit of the input variables used are labor costs, raw materials, transportation and marketing. From the analysis of observations, 19 food and beverage companies have 8 ineffective companies namely Ultrajaya Tbk which has an efficiency value of 0.99, Akasha Wira International Tbk has an efficient level of 0.82, Pioneerindo Gourment International Tbk with an efficiency of 0.79, Siantar Top Tbk which has an efficiency value of 0.65 , Sekar Bumi Tbk 0.67, Sariguna Primatirta Tbk which has an efficiency level of 0.65, Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk which has an efficiency level of 0.653, and the last is Nippon Indosari Corpindo Tbk which has an efficiency value of 0.59

    Welfare level is an indicator that shows the level of community empowerment in meeting a decent standard of living. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the level of welfare in 12 sub-districts in Sukoharjo Regency. The analytical method used in this study is panel data regression with cross-sectional factors covering 12 sub-districts in Sukoharjo Regency. The independent variables used to explain the factors that affect the level of welfare are village funds, education level, family program funds, and dependency ratio. The results showed that the Fixed Effects Model (FEM) was chosen as the best estimation result. Village funds and education level have a positive effect on the level of welfare in 12 sub-districts in Sukoharjo Regency. Meanwhile, PKH funds and dependency ratios have no effect on the level of welfare in 12 sub-districts in Sukoharjo Regency. The sub-district with the highest level of welfare in Sukoharjo is known to be in Kartasura District. While the sub-district with a low level of welfare is Tawangsari District. Improved welfare can be done by developing community creativity in utilizing existing natural and human resources, creating programs to create people who are aware of nutritional health, healthy lifestyles, and health.
