ABSTRACT
Background: Head injury is still a global health problem as the cause of death, disability, and mental deficits at a young age. Head injury sufferers often experience edema cerebri i.e the accumulation of excess fluid in the brain extracellular or intracelluler spaces or intracranial hemorraghe resulting in increased intracranial pressure.
Objective: Knowing about the study of nursing care with edema cerebri and able to apply it in patiens with edema cerebri includes assessement, diagnose intervention, implementation and evaluation of nursing.
Method: The research is an assesment. Data is obtained by using interview and physical examination on edema cerebri patient.
Result: After assasment obtained three problems namely, pain, distruption of normal sleep patterns, and anxious. The author makes an intevention to prevent an increase in intracranial pressure, improve sleep quality and anxiety. Implementations have largery done, all problems can be resolved most and need further treatment so that the problem can be completely resolved.
Conclusing: On nursing care process all problem are can be overcome but jud partly of problem, so need to continue nursing care and cooperation with medical team, patient and family was very need to successfuly nursing care

Upaya Peningkatan Mobilitas Fisik Pada Pasien Post Orif Fraktur Femur Sinistra
Traffic accidents judged to be the third killer after heart disease coronary and tuberculosis one that occurred after a traffic accident that fractured. Fraktur is an interruption of continuity of bone or cartilage tissue that is generally caused by involuntary. One of the problems that occur in patients post ORIF (open reduction internal) femoral fracture limitation of motion of the knee joint that is experienced by the patient, the fracture can cause defects in the limbs fractured. While physical disability can be restored gradually through a range of motion 2 exercises is to practice Range Of Motion (ROM). The purpose of the author in order to understand the nursing care in patients with a diagnosis of postoperative femoral fracture sinistra. The method used is descriptive case study approach, is to perform nursing care in patients with postoperative femoral fracture ranging from assessment, intervention, implementation, and evaluation of nursing. After 3x24-hour nursing care for patients with femur fractures postoperative acute pain problems solved partially fill interventions, physical mobility impairments resolved intervention is stopped, the risk of infection is resolved and the intervention is stopped. ROM influence on the patient's postoperative femoral fracture effective to train a range of motion and prevent muscle stiffness.Ny. S case of the assessment results. There are three nursing problems are acute pain, impaired physical mobility, and the risk of infection. After nursing actions during 3x24 hours of acute pain is resolved in part, impaired physical mobility is resolved, and the risk of infection is resolved. Recommended for patients always control according to a fixed schedule and family can also make independent nursing actions at home.

Asuhan Keperawatan Pada Ny.S Dengan Gangguan Sistem Pencernaan : Appendisitis Akut Dengan Post Appendiktomi Diruang Cempaka RSUD Pandan Arang Boyolali
Latar belakang : Appendisitis akut merupakan salah satu penyakit penyebab nyeri akut abdomen dan berindikasi untuk di lakukan pembedahan kegawat daruratan. Kejadian appendisitis akut menempati kasus tertinggi pada kasus kegawatan abdomen.Tingkat kejadian appendisitis di negara maju lebih tinggi di bandingkan dengan negara berkembang.
Tujuan : Untuk mengetahui asuhan keperawatan medikal bedah pada Ny.S dengan gangguan sistem pencernaan : appendikitis dengan post apendiktomi meliputi pengkajian, diagnosa, intervensi, implementasi dan evaluasi. Hasil : Setelah dilakukan tindakan keperawatan selam 3x24 jam didapatkan hasil nyeri berkurang, kebutuhan nutrisi tubuh, intoleransi aktivitas teratasi sebagian. Kesimpulan : Appendiktomi merupakan salah satu penatalaksanaan pada appendisitis yang biasanya dalam pembedahan. Kerjasama antara tim medis, pasien dan keluarga merupakan faktor pendukung dalam keberhasilan dalam proses keperawatan. Tehnik relaksasi nafas dalam dan kolaborasi dalam pemberian obat analgetik dapat menurunkan intensitas nyeri setelah operasi
Asuhan Keperawatan Pada Tn. W dengan Gangguan Sistem Persarafan : Stroke Non Hemoragic Di Ruang Gladiol Atas Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Sukoharjo
Background : Stroke is the third cause of death after myocardial infarction and cancer as well as the number one cause of disability worldwide. The impact of stroke is not only felt by the patient, but also by the family and the surrounding community. Research shows that the incidence of stroke continues to rise in many developing countries (including Indonesia). In fact, many clients who come to the hospital in a state that is already much reduced and the stroke is a disease that requires care and treatment long enough.
Aim of research :To implement nursing care in patients with non-hemorrhagic stroke that include assessment, intervention, implementation and evaluation of nursing.
Methods : The method used is a case study, namely by performing nursing care in patients with non-hemorrhagic stroke ranging from assessment, intervention, implementation and evaluation of nursing.
Results : After 3x24-hour nursing care for patients with non-hemorrhagic stroke risk concerns the ineffectiveness of cerebral tissue perfusion, damage to physical mobility and verbal communication barriers partially resolved and interventions should be continued.
Conclusion : These three nursing problems resolved partially, thus requiring further treatment and cooperation with other medical team, patients, and families that are indispensable for the success of nursing care
Self Care Relationships With Glychemic Status On Patients Diabetes Melitus Type Ii In The Working Region Of Puskesmas Boyolali I
Background: Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a group of symptoms that occurs to someone due to the increase of blood glucose level caused by absolute or relative lack of insulin. DM can increase risk of coronary heart disease, stroke, peripheral vascular disease, retinopathy, nephropathy, and neuropathy. Complications associated with diabetes can be prevented through good control of glycemic. Self-care is believed to be able to directly affect to glycemic control of DM type 2 patients.
Objective: The study aimed to identify correlation between self-care and glycemic control of DM type 2 patients at the Boyolali I Community Health Center.
Methods: This research is quantitative, the research design used is descriptive correlative with cross sectional approach. Data collection using questionnaires . Sample used as many as 60 people with sampling technique Purposive Sampling . The study was conducted 14 December 2017 at Boyolali I Community Health Center. Data analysis using Chi-Square analysis test to self care with fasting blood glucose level.
Results: the majority of respondents have a good level of self care and fasting blood glucose level of 52 people (86,7%) with p-value 0,001 (<0.05) which means there is a relationship.

Upaya Penurunan Nyeri Pada Pasien Osteoartritis Post Total Knee Replacement Di Rsop Dr.Soeharso Surakarta
Background: Osteoarthritis is actually a type of arthritis (rheumatoid arthritis) are frequently encountered, both in Indonesia and abroad. Osteoarthritits characterized by progressive damage to the joint cartilage and leads to changes in the structure of the joints ultimately had to do the surgery or often called by a total knee replacement. Total knee replacement is a surgical procedure done to replace a bearing joints are porous and replaced with new bearings made of iron. Joint pain is a common complaint felt by patients with osteoarthritis. Osteoarthritis joint pain occurs when osteophytes can be overcome pharmacological and non-pharmacological, to address non-pharmacological pain can be done by providing a warm compress. Warm compresses can cause vasodilation that occurs at the time of warm compresses, can dilate blood vessels, there by increasing blood flow to the painful part. Writers can understand nursing care to patients in the Parangselling class wth ostearthritis in RSOP Dr. Soeharso Surakarta. This publication method using descriptive method that with proper interpretation of fact-finding, the research methods to create an image of the situation in patients and collecting data based on actual facts and the truth. Hubungan Nilai Ankle Brachial Index (Abi) Dengan Kualitas Hidup Penderita Diabetes Melitus Tipe 2 Di Persadia Cabang Kota Surakarta
Abstract
Background. One of complications found in Diabetes Mellitus Type 2 affecting peripheral nerves is Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD). The disease is a condition in which lesions found in blood vessel are limiting arterial blood flow supplying extremities. The condition will cause blood vessel to be thickening and sclerotic easily triggering peripheral blood vessel disease. The condition can be detected by examining score of Ankle Brachial Index (ABI). PAD has been associated with reduced physical and functional capabilities. The condition has been causing decreased life quality of patient (Health Related Quality of Life) compared to cardiovascular diseases because of ill, sleep disturbance and reduced mobility. Diagnostic test of PAD with greater accuracy of ABI will likely to reflect changed quality of life of a person related to condition suffered. Purpose. Purpose of the research was to know relationship between ABI score and quality of life of patient with DM. Research Methods. The research was analytical (survey) one with cross-sectional approach. Sample of the research was 44 patients with DM type 2 in Persadia of Surakarta City branch. The sample was taken by using purposive sampling. Instruments of the research were questionnaire, sphygmomanometer and stethoscope. Bivariate result was obtained indicating that respondents with normal scores of ABI and good quality of life were 59.3% respondents and those with normal scores of ABI and less good quality of life were 35.3%. p value = 0.010 (p<0.05) meaning that Ha was accepted. Congclusion. Congclusion of the research showed that a relationship between score of ABI and quality of life of patient with DM type 2 in Persadia of Surakarta city branch was found.

It can be seen from the ignorance of the patient in answering questions when done frequently asked questions about DM, besides there are still many patients who do not control their diet, so it can improve blood sugar levels in the body that can worsen the patient's
condition. Therefore health education is a good way to provide information, knowledge and attitudes of patients with diabetes mellitus for the better, so as not to 2
worsen the condition of patients with diabetes mellitus. The population in this study were 111 patients suffering from DM. The purpose of this study was to determine
whether there is influence of health education on knowledge and attitude of the patients on how to manage diet DM in Puskesmas Boyolali I. This type of research is quantitative data in the form of numbers, using the method of pre experiment with pretest - posttest Design , The samples in this study using a random sampling totaling 53 people. The research instrument used questionnaire, health education leaflets media. Analysis of the data in this study using the Wilcoxon Rank Signeg. Hubungan Status Glikemia Dengan Kualitas Hidup Pada Ulkus Kaki Diabetik Di RSUD Dr. Moewardi Surakarta
The increase of plasma blood glucose in diabetic foot ulcer can be influence their quality of life which is a decrease in their body condition that can be affect into many aspects of their life. To improve their quality of life can be influenced by good management of diabetes. This study aims to determine correlation between glycemic status and quality of life in diabetic foot ulcers at RSUD Dr. Moewardi Surakarta. This study type is quantitative with a cross sectional approach. The sample in this study were 50 respondents who taken by accidental sampling. The instrument in this study used diabetes quality of life questionnaire and medical record data at RSUD Dr. Moewardi Surakarta includes 27 questions that have been modified by the researcher. The data processing technique used was chi square test. The results of this study indicate that there is correlation between glycemic status with diabetic foot ulcer quality of life based on this study. Patient who have normal blood glucose and good quality of life more greater than patient who have bad quality of life while patient who have high blood glucose but they have bad quality of life more greater than patient who have good quality of life and also patient who have low blood glucose but their quality of life are good more greater than patient who have bad quality of life. The conclusion in this study is to improve the quality of life in diabetic foot ulcers can be done with good glycemic control

Background : An increasingly consumerist attitudes of humans towards food containing foreign substance harmful to the body the more damning work of the kidney causing disease chronic kidney disease. Globally in 2007 more than 500 million people experiencing chronic kidney disease, in Indonesia 2008 was dead 100.000, in central java 2008 reached 16.954 cases, and in Sukoharjo regency 2008 reached742 cases of chronic kidney disease. Of the various causes leading to chronic kidney disease will bring up various complications and a life time handling therefore nurses is very important in doing the nursing care of patient on chronic kidney disease.
Goal : To understand the concept of disease chronic kidney disease as well as able to do nursing care patient chronic kidney disease.
Method : The method used is to approach a case study that is the scientific method thay is collect file, analize file, and draw conclusion.
Result : The diagnosis appears on the case is a pattern of ineffective breath, excess fluid volume and nutritional imbalances less than body requirements. After nursing care 3x24 hours shortness of breath is reduced, still there is edema, nausea is reduced so that the issue is resolved in part.
Conclusion : Nursing care in the conduct of all issues resolved in part so as to require further treatment and cooperation with other medical team, patient and families are indispensable to the success of nursing care
