ANALYSIS OF INCOME INEQUALITY IN JAVA ISLAND AND ITS INFLUENCING FACTORS IN 2012-2023
This study aims to analyze the effect of Economic Growth (GRDP), Human Development Index (HDI), and Unemployment on Income Inequality in Java during the period 2012-2023. The data used in this study are secondary data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS). This research uses panel data regression model with Random Effect Model (REM) approach and analyzed using Eviews12 software. The regression analysis results show that partially the variables of Economic Growth, HDI, and Unemployment have a positive and significant effect on income inequality in Java Island in 2012-2023. The simultaneous test results show that the variables of economic growth, HDI, and Unemployment have a positive and significant influence on income inequality in Java Island in 2012-2023. From the results of this study, it is expected that the government can provide appropriate policies so that the policies implemented can be realized and the government is also expected to be able to create jobs, improve the quality of education and training to reduce the level of income inequality
The Impact of Tax Literacy, Financial Condition on Tax Compliance With Tax Awareness as a Moderating Variable
This study implements an associative research design with the goal of discovering the nature of the relationship that exists between Tax Literacy Factors (X1), Financial Situation (X2), and Individual Taxpayer Compliance (Y), with Taxpayer Awareness serving as a moderating variable (Z). Data was collected using questionnaires with a rating system called Likert that included five potential replies. Google Forms is utilized to ease the participant collection procedure. The study's population comprised people who completed questions using Google Forms. A variety of data analysis procedures are employed to investigate the obtained data. These processes include validity and reliability testing, classical assumption tests, linear regression and MRA, determination coefficient tests, simultaneous F tests, and partial T tests. According to the determination test, the variables included in this study accounted for 99.5% of the variance, with the remaining 5% affected by unspecified factors. This study's concurrent findings reveal that tax literacy and financial situation have a considerable impact on individual taxpayer compliance, and taxpayer awareness can attenuate the effects of tax literacy factors and financial condition on oribadi taxpayer compliance in Pontianak. The Impact of Islamic Human Development Index and Fiscal Decentralization on Poverty Levels in North Sumatra
This study aims to analyze the influence of the Islamic Human Development Index (IHDI) and Fiscal Decentralization on Poverty Levels in Districts/Cities in North Sumatra Province during 2016-2022. The research method uses explanatory research with quantitative data to estimate the influence of dependent variables (IHDI and Fiscal Decentralization) on the Poverty variable. The calculation of the IHDI variable uses the theory and model of Maqashid Syari'ah. The results of this study include is the Islamic Human Development Index (IHDI) has a negative and significant effect on poverty at a 95 percent confidence level in districts/cities in North Sumatra province during 2016-2022. Government spending in the education and health sectors has a negative and significant effect at the 95 percent confidence level. In comparison, government spending in the social sector has a negative but not significant effect at the 95 percent confidence level on poverty in districts/cities in North Sumatra province during 2016-2022. 3). The magnitude of the influence between all variables used, namely; Islamic Human Development Index (IHDI), government spending on education, government spending on health and government spending on social issues on poverty, is 92.78 percent and the remaining 8.22 percent is influenced by other variables that are not analyzed in this study
Analysis of Investment Interest in Islamic Banks and Influencing Factors (A Study on Entrepreneurs in Sungai Penuh City)
This research focuses on analyzing the investment interest of entrepreneurs in Sungai Penuh City, taking into account independent variables such as culture, trust, and service quality. The sampling method employed was simple random sampling, and data were obtained from 101 respondents who filled out the questionnaire both online and offline. The results of this study indicate the rejection of all three research hypotheses. Culture does not have a significant influence on investment interest. Trust also does not significantly affect investment interest. Additionally, service quality does not have a significant impact on investment interest. Overall, these findings affirm that statistically, culture, trust, and service quality do not have a significant influence on the investment interest of entrepreneurs in Sungai Penuh City
Analysis of the Influence of Financial Ratios and Macroeconomic on Stock Prices of Transportation and Logistics Sector Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX)
The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of financial ratios and macroeconomic factors on the stock prices of transportation and logistics companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). A quantitative approach is employed in the research, utilizing secondary data from the IDX website and the official websites of 12 companies. The study applies purposive sampling and analyzes the data using panel data regression with E-Views 12. The results indicate that ROE, Interest Rate, and Firm Value have a partial effect on stock prices, while the Current Ratio does not significantly impact stock prices. Additionally, all independent variables have a significant simultaneous effect on stock prices
The Influence of Education, Regional Spending, and Infrastructure in Encouraging The Improvement of Village Development Index in Mataraman Regency
Equitable village development is one of the main focuses in achieving inclusive and sustainable national development goals. The Village Development Index (IDM) as a measuring tool for village development used by the Indonesian government is an important indicator in seeing the progress of village development. This studyiiiaims to analyze the effect of education, regional spending, and infrastructure variables on increasing IDM in the Mataraman area, East Java Province. This study uses a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis techniques using the eviews 12 application. The data used are secondary data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and the Ministry of Villages, Development ofiiDisadvantaged Regions and Transmigration (Kemendesa PDTT) in 2018-2022. The results of the study show that education and regional spending have a positive andiisignificant effect on IDM, while infrastructure does not have a significant effect. This study implies that village development policies need to emphasize increasing access to education, regional spending and basic infrastructure to encourage sustainable village development
The Influence of Internal Factors on Consumer Cyclicals' Corporate Debt Policy Listed on the IDX 2021-2023
Permasalahan utama dalam penelitian ini muncul dari pentingnya memilih sumber pendanaan yang tepat bagi perusahaan, khususnya di sektor Consumer Cylicals yang membutuhkan pembiayaan besar untuk mendukung Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh profitabilitas, likuiditas, pertumbuhan perusahaan, dan struktur aset terhadap kebijakan utang pada perusahaan di sektor Consumer Cylicals yang tercatat di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) selama periode 2021-2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan data sekunder dari laporan tahunan perusahaan. Sampel ditentukan dengan metode purposive sampling, perusahaan di sektor Konsorsium Silikal terdaftar di BEI sebanyak 123 perusahaan, dan perusahaan yang tidak memberikan laporan tahunan sebanyak 34 perusahaan sehingga diperoleh 90 perusahaan. Sementara itu, 77 data yang tidak memenuhi kriteria (casewise) dan data yang memenuhi persyaratan sebanyak 190 pengamatan alat analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa struktur aset memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kebijakan utang perusahaan, di sisi lain, profitabilitas, likuiditas, dan pertumbuhan perusahaan tidak mempengaruhi kebijakan utang. Perseroan menganggap struktur aset sebagai jaminan untuk memperoleh pendanaan eksternal daripada kinerja keuangan jangka pendek. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa perusahaan perlu mengelola struktur aset secara optimal untuk meningkatkan akses pembiayaan yang sehat, dan faktor profitabilitas dan likuiditas harus tetap dipertahankan sebagai indikator kesehatan keuangan secara umum, keterbatasan penelitian ini terletak pada ruang lingkup variabel yang hanya mencakup faktor internal serta ruang lingkup data yang terbatas pada sektor dalam tiga tahun ke depan, Studi ini disarankan untuk memasukkan variabel eksternal seperti suku bunga, inflasi dan faktor moratorium lainnya serta memperluas objek penelitian di sektor industri lainny
Population, Exchange Rate and Foreign Direct Investment on Openness Trade in Interregional (RCEP): Panel Dynamic - GMM
This study aims to determine the effect of population, exchange rates, and investment on international trade in countries that are members of RCEP. With the approach of dynamic panel data analysis method with 15 countries namely ASEAN, Japan, South Korea, Australia, China, and New Zealand. in 2012-2022, which sourced data from the World Development Indicator (WDI) World Bank with the generalized moment method (GMM). The results showed that the FD-GMM assumption did not meet 3 estimates (arellano-bond test, sargan test, and model specification test) then continued with the SYS-GMM assumption which successfully met 3 estimates, then the regression results of the SYS-GMM model will be used in the discussion. The results of the analysis show that an increase in population will increase trade by 0.149068%. Likewise, an increase in the exchange rate will also increase trade by 0.0795209%. And if there is an increase in investment, it will increase trade by 0.0111297%. This shows that population, exchange rates, and investment have a positive and significant effect on international trade. From the results of this study, it is hoped that the government can provide appropriate policies so that the policies implemented can be realized and the government can also increase population and labor, policies to increase economic competitiveness, and policies to increase economic stability, to increase trade
Factors Influencing the Increase in E-Banking Adoption in Rural Communities (Case Study of Batang Kuis Community)
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi peningkatan adopsi e-banking di masyarakat pedesaan, khususnya di wilayah Batang Kuis. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa keuntungan dan keamanan yang dirasakan merupakan faktor dominan yang mendorong adopsi e-banking di kalangan masyarakat pedesaan di Batang Kuis. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada literatur yang ada dengan menyelaraskan dengan Teori Utilitas, yang menyatakan bahwa manfaat yang dirasakan dan manfaat aktual merupakan pendorong utama adopsi teknologi individu. Berdasarkan temuan-temuan ini, studi ini merekomendasikan peningkatan langkah-langkah keamanan, peningkatan literasi keuangan melalui program-program pendidikan, dan peningkatan infrastruktur di daerah pedesaan untuk mendorong adopsi e-banking yang lebih besar. Hal ini memerlukan kolaborasi antara lembaga keuangan dan lembaga pemerintah. Namun, penelitian ini memiliki keterbatasan, termasuk ukuran sampel yang terbatas dan cakupan variabel yang terbatas. Penelitian di masa mendatang dapat memperluas sampel dan menggabungkan rentang variabel yang lebih luas untuk pemahaman yang lebih komprehensif tentang adopsi e-banking di lingkungan pedesaan. This research aims to identify the factors that influence the increase in e-banking adoption in rural communities, specifically in the Batang Kuis area. The results of the data analysis indicate that perceived profit and security are the dominant factors encouraging e-banking adoption among the rural community in Batang Kuis. This research contributes to the existing literature by aligning with Utility Theory, which posits that perceived benefits and actual benefits are key drivers of individual technology adoption. Based on these findings, this study recommends improving security measures, enhancing financial literacy through education programs, and improving infrastructure in rural areas to foster greater e-banking adoption. This necessitates collaboration between financial institutions and government agencies. However, this research has limitations, including a limited sample size and a restricted scope of variables. Future research could expand the sample and incorporate a wider range of variables for a more comprehensive understanding of e-banking adoption in rural settings.
Strategy Analysis To Improve The Competitiveness Of Tourist Villages Using The Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) Approach
This study was conducted with the aim of determining the strategies that must be carried out in increasing the competitiveness of tourist villages through several strategies proposed based on the calculation of priority weights including increasing human capital, increasing knowledge of environmental sustainability, increasing the quality of organizational culture, capital management and participatory planning. This research method was carried out using a hierarchy process analysis approach to determine priority strategies from predetermined multicriteria, the data in this study were questionnaires given to key persons based on the level of knowledge about the competitiveness of tourist villages. The findings of this study can be explained that in an effort to increase the competitiveness of tourist villages, it is necessary to consider priority aspects in an effort to improve the strategy for more optimal tourist villages. This study found that the main priority in increasing the competitiveness of tourist villages can be done through a strategy of increasing human capital through training, education and improving skills. In the strategy of increasing the competitiveness of tourist villages, strategic steps in priority levels must be sorted according to the main priorities starting from increasing human capital, participatory planning, increasing the quality of culture and organizations as well as environmental sustainability and capital management. Collaboration between business actors, local governments and stakeholders is known to be very important in implementing the concept of sustainability to achieve highly competitive tourist villages
