This study analysed the competitiveness indicators of Saudi exports of dates using econometric analysis and competitiveness indicators. The Republic of Yemen was found to rank first in importing Saudi dates, followed by the United Arab Emirates, then by Turkey, Kuwait, Jordan, Somalia, Lebanon and Qatar. A clear discrepancy existed in the average export prices of Saudi dates between the various importing countries, where the average export price ranged between a minimum of 559.9/tonne;Syriahadanupperlimitof559.9/tonne; Syria had an upper limit of 4,368.2/tonne for South Africa. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia enjoyed a competitive advantage in exporting dates to South Africa, followed by the Emirates, Pakistan, Jordan, Djibouti, Turkey and Syria. The geographical concentration coefficient for each of the quantity and value of Saudi exports of dates was approximately 0.40 and 0.37 for each during 1990–2018. A 10% change in the competitiveness of Saudi dates, expressed in the rate of the actual performance of the foreign date trade, led to a change in the same direction of the quantity of Saudi exports of dates by 3.8%. The study recommends increasing the competitiveness of dates in international markets and preserving markets where in the Kingdom enjoys a competitive capacity for its agricultural exports

The internal service quality in an organization is a particularly important factor that determines not only the internal users (employee) satisfaction, but also their loyalty to the organization and their performance. The aim of the study is to determine the internal service quality in "Kaunas Žalgiris" football club. Methods: A qualitative methodological approach, semi-structured indepth interviews (non-probabilistic targeting). The study showed that different recipients of internal services receive services of different quality. Coaches, men's football team players, administration and service staff receive the highest quality internal services. The lowest quality internal services are received by those who do not generate income for the club - women's and youth football teams. The club should ensure that all resources are available to all football teams belonging to the club. Although "Kaunas Žalgiris" football club has created an entire pyramid for the education of young footballers, it faces a lack of loyalty from them due to quality problems of internal services provided. It is recommended that "Kaunas Žalgiris" football club solve the problems of internal service quality and develop a strategy aimed at promoting the loyalty and pride of youth teams in belonging to "Kaunas Žalgiris" organization

Modeling, accounting and control of formation and use of resources (on the example of the construction industry)

The aim of the article was to build analytical models in the construction industry based on the analysis of its economic indicators and the use of positive foreign experience, as well as by identifying opportunities to optimize resources using better accounting and control systems. The achievement of the goal was based on the results of canonical correlation analysis. Its application allowed us to conclude that there is a long time lag (5 years) of making strategic management decisions on the formation and use of resources in construction companies and their results. This is due to the significant duration of construction work and the frequent commissioning of residential premises with a delay of 1-2 years due to political, economic, financial and other problems. Based on the analysis of Ukrainian and international experience in accounting and control over the formation and use of resources, proposals have been developed for the use of flexible schedules for the supply of material and technical resources using the latest information and computer technology (ICT), work calendars (desktop, wall) and electronic devices with reminders of dates of payment of invoices of suppliers and contractors, dates and forms of financial and administrative reporting, etc. The object of research is the process of complex interaction of accounting, control, analysis and modeling to ensure effective management of material, technical and financial resources of construction companies in 24 regions of Ukraine, European and other countries. The subject of research is the theoretical and practical principles of application of modeling and analysis in accounting and control over the formation and use of material, technical and financial resources of construction companies. It is revealed that the enterprises of the construction industry of Ukraine, many European countries and countries of other continents do not fully use the existing potential of the latest information and computer technologies and modern modeling methods for the organization and optimization of business processes; establishing logistical links between business partners; systems for managing the processes of supply, warehousing, construction production, marketing; reducing costs at all stages of the life cycle of construction products. Based on this, two hypotheses are derived, the first of which indicates the potential of construction companies to effectively carry out financial and management accounting, internal control; to put construction objects into operation quickly, efficiently and in a timely manner. The second hypothesis points to the fact that construction companies for various reasons violate the procedure for accounting for resources, do not perform planned measures of internal control; allow disruptions of construction processes and terms of commissioning of construction objects; allow the lack and misuse of material and financial resources. The practical application of proposals to optimize the use of resources modeled in the research process and proposed ways to improve the efficiency of information and computer technology can be effectively implemented to ensure business processes in construction, in particular the implementation of logistics in the search and delivery of resources. construction projects and warehouses. This will significantly reduce the cost of accounting and control support of construction work, without reducing their quality and timeliness

In the prevailing era, the most relevant issues seem to be the development of an adaptive policy of an energy sales company to ensure financial stability and sustainable development in the course of energy sales activities. This study continues the cycle of the author's general research devoted to the methodological issues of an adaptive policy development in relation to the key business processes of energy sales activities implemented by an energy sales company, the specifics of its work as a guaranteed energy (capacity) supplier, etc. The article examines the conditions and factors that determine the need to develop an adaptive system for an energy sales company to organize payment acceptance. When it comes to the business process organization for payment acceptance, energy retail companies need to take into account the conditions and factors that set the long-term trend in this area: changes in legislation, the strength of market competition and the trends of the payment acceptance market infrastructure, the ongoing coronavirus infection pandemic, and the ongoing technological change. Management decision-making should be based on the principles of economic feasibility and efficiency in conjunction with legal requirement compliance. Power supply companies need to use the conditions and factors highlighted in the study to build up competitive advantages in the field of payment acceptance organization, to maintain and develop their market position, which can only be done through an adaptation policy in this area. For the purpose of economic efficiency increase concerning organization payment acceptance business process, energy sales companies need to plan the indicators of the payment acceptance system, implement measures for their implementation (achieve target values), carry out the analysis of the achieved results and their reflection, which will ensure timely and reasonable acceptance of management decisions

Experimental research of a shared memory subsystem with limited queue length for specialized reconfigurable multiprocessor systems

Recently, reconfigurable systems based on field programmable logic devices (FPLDs) have been widely used in high-performance computing. The paper discusses issues related to the experimental research of a shared memory subsystem with a limited queue length of specialized reconfigurable multiprocessor systems using the developed mathematical modelling method. The paper presents the results of the method proposed by the authors for modelling multiprocessor systems based on open queuing networks with limited queue lengths. Based on these conditions, as well as the architectural features of the investigated processor-memory subsystem, expressions are calculated to estimate the exchange time and the resulting delays at each exchange stage. During the research, the main attention was paid to the dependence of the increase in the number of processor nodes in the processor-memory subsystem. As a result, the data obtained showed that the processor growth significantly affects the exchange time, creating a significant load on the common bus, as well as increasing delays at the stages when request transfer operation from the processor to the memory is performed. At the same time, the inadequate behaviour of experimental results and inaccuracy of their values when using the basic modelling method are explicitly tracked, which is reflected in the obtained graphs. Computational experiments were carried out to calculate the probabilistic-temporal characteristics of the "processor-memory" subsystem using the developed mathematical modelling methods. Based on the experimental results, it was determined that the delays occurring in subsystem's nodes and the time of exchange between the processor and memory modules depend on the query parameters and the processor-memory subsystem’s architectural characteristics
