Graphic Novels against Gender-Based Violence in the Lusophone Context: A Selection
The present selection represents the second research outcome of the exploratory project GENTEEL – Graphic Novels Against Gender Violence, funded by the Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (2023.14621.PEX). Following the mapping of existing Lusophone graphic novels that address gender-based violence, the research team carried out a selection process with two main objectives: 1. to identify, among the mapped works, those considered suitable for use in educational contexts (e.g., Portuguese secondary schools that will be involved in the empirical phase of the project); 2. to select four to five graphic novels that will be employed in the empirical phase of the project, aimed at collecting data on students’ responses

Postural control in 5-6-year-old children: postural sway and muscle activation during task performance
Postural control is the neurological process of body stability with gravity by maintaining or returning the centre of pressure (COP) on the base of support (BOS). Developing postural control with playful and intense physical activities at an early age is essential to prevent spinal deformities and back pain in children and adolescents. This cross-sectional study aimed to measure and analyse changes in postural sway and the muscle activation of the rectus abdominis and lumbar extensors in children's preschool natural environment during task performance. Therefore, this study allowed to measure and analyse stabilometric parameters about the children’s development of postural control and identify risk factors for the healthy development of body posture
