    PENINGKATAN PARIWISATA DI KABUPATEN GOWA MELALUI REVITALISASI GREEN PEKOE CAFÉ MALINO HIGHLAND

    Malino is an area located in Tinggimoncong District which is a supporting area for South Sulawesi tourism which is located at an altitude of 1000 meters above sea level with natural beauty and cool air as a valuable asset to attract local and foreign tourists with the opening of tourist attractions including tea plantation tourist areas that have existed since the Dutch colonial era and then began to be managed with the addition of other facilities in 2014, namely Malino Highland. Malino Highland has experienced a decline in the number of tourists since 2020 which has had an impact until now. With its potential, Malino Highland is expected to be able to attract local and foreign tourists again, by conducting research using case study research methods for other tourist destinations in the Malino area supported by primary data obtained through observation, interviews, questionnaires, documentation and literature studies and the results show the need for revitalization to increase tourist attraction both in terms of area and buildings aimed at its main building, namely Green Peko'e Café by considering Sustainable Architectural Aspects and recommendations for transportation and access within the area. The use of sustainable materials is a consideration for use, namely Bamboo as the main material because it is widely found along Malino and can be harvested in just 3-5 years. By carrying out this Revitalization, it is hoped that Malino Highland can be an example of how to improve Tourism that pays attention to sustainable development in order to be an inspiration for tourism development in other areas

    Analisis Desain Bukaan Ventilasi Terhadap Arah Aliran Angin pada Rumah Tinggal

    This research aims to analyze the effect of the design of ventilation in residential houses at the Royal Residence on the direction of incoming wind flow to increase indoor thermal comfort. The research was carried out using quantitative methods, where values ​​were taken by direct measurements at the location and then analyzed using CFD simulations Cradle CFD and Energy 2D. The research results show that the existing ventilation design of Casement Top Hung produces an average indoor wind speed of 0.281 m/s, not good enough to flow air into the room evenly, the Vertically Pivoted type produces an average wind speed of 1.28 m/s, and the air is channeled evenly so that the wind that enters the room provides thermal comfort to the occupants. The direction of the opening greatly influences the speed and distribution of incoming air to support air comfortable for people. The landscape greatly affects the placement of openings and the types of windows where wind can be spread throughout the room evenly to provide thermal comfort for occupants. These results can be used as an evaluation in trends of selection window types and for further research in improving the thermal comfort of residential in different landscape environmental conditions

    The discussion of this research aims to understand the environmental behavior system based on behavioral attributes according to the theory proposed by Weisman (1981) that appears in its interaction with the environment so that it can become the basis for an assessment that the public open space can accommodate all functions or user activities. This research uses qualitative research methods with behavior mapping data collection methods consisting of place-centered mapping, person-centered mapping and physical trace behavior mapping methods to obtain information about emerging behavioral attributes. From the observation of 106 people, five dominant attributes emerged, namely, comfort, sociality, visibility, accessibility, and adaptability. However, there are shortcomings in meeting the needs of visitors based on these five attributes. The proposed design direction can maximize the function of Malalayang Beach Walk Manado City as a public open space that can accommodate a variety of user activities. Understanding the influence of user behavior on the environment can provide a perspective in developing a more comfortable and sustainable space

    This study aims to examine the role of public buildings as city landmarks in strengthening Balikpapan’s identity as a supporting city for the new capital of Indonesia (IKN) in East Kalimantan. In this context, the Balikpapan UMKM Gallery, strategically located in front of Sultan Aji Muhammad Sulaiman Airport, is selected as a case study of iconic architectural design expected to represent the city’s identity. The research employs a descriptive-qualitative approach, utilizing data collection techniques such as field observations, literature review, interviews, and questionnaires distributed to the general public and professionals. The assessment is based on five landmark criteria: visual dominance, memorability of design, integration with the surrounding environment, symbolism, and durability over time. The results indicate that the UMKM Gallery fulfills most of the criteria for iconic architecture, particularly in terms of visual and symbolic aspects. However, shortcomings remain in its environmental integration and material durability. This study emphasizes the significant role of architecture in shaping urban identity and the urgent need for contextual and sustainable design planning to support regional transformation toward the new capital

    ANALISIS PARAMETER OSEANOGRAFI DI PANTAI BINTALAHE AKIBAT LIMBAH BUANGAN BANGUNAN PEMBANGKIT LISTRIK TENAGA UAP (PLTU)

    In the Bintalahe area, there is a coal-fired power plant (PLTU) that operates using steam power to generate electricity. This PLTU uses coal as fuel, which produces liquid waste from its operational processes. This study aims to analyze oceanographic parameters along the Bintalahe coastline due to the discharge of PLTU waste. The research was conducted from January 10–12, 2025, at Bintalahe Beach in Bone Bolango District using a descriptive method. The results of the study show that water quality parameters at Station 2 at a depth of 5 meters recorded a temperature of 31°C, while Stations 1, 2, and 3 at a depth of 3 meters had the same value of 30°C. The highest dissolved oxygen (DO) measurement was at station 1 at 7.1 mg/L, station 2 at a depth of 3 meters at 6.4 mg/L, at a depth of 5 meters at 6.9 mg/L, and the lowest at station 3 at 4.1 mg/L. Salinity measurements showed Station 1 at 30‰, Station 2 at 3 meters depth at 25‰, at 5 meters depth at 27‰, and Station 3 at 25‰. Light intensity reached 100% at all observation stations. Current speed varied with Station I at 0.56 m/s, Station II at 3 meters depth at 1.12 m/s, 5 meters depth at 1.19 m/s, and Station III at 1.47 m/s

    ANALISIS KETERSEDIAAN DAN KEBUTUHAN SARANA PRASARANA SOSIAL DI KECAMATAN MARISA, KABUPATEN POHUWATO

    This study analyzes the availability and projected needs for social infrastructure in Marisa District for the period 2023-2035. The research methodology uses a quantitative descriptive approach with population projection techniques based on SNI 03-1733-2004 standards on Procedures for Urban Housing Environment Planning. The research findings indicate that for the period 2023-2025, Marisa Subdistrict requires additional educational infrastructure in the form of 8 kindergarten/RA units, 4 elementary school/MI units, and 1 high school/SMK/MA unit, as well as 2 doctor's practice units for the health sector. The 2035 projection indicates a greater need for 16 kindergarten units, 10 elementary/madrasah ibtidaiyah units, 3 senior high school/vocational school/madrasah aliyah units, and 4 doctor's clinics. Meanwhile, religious facilities are deemed adequate until 2035. Development priorities are focused on adding basic and upper secondary education facilities. This study provides strategic references for local governments in formulating policies for the development of social infrastructure, particularly in the fields of education and health. The implementation of the study's findings is expected to optimize development in Marisa Subdistrict, the capital of Pohuwato Regency, making it more effective and structured in line with regional needs

    The Department of Communication and Information Technology (KOMINFO) is a local government agency that provides services in the fields of communication, information technology, cryptography, and statistics for the community. This agency is led by a Head of Department who is responsible to the Regent through the Regional Secretary. This study aims to design the KOMINFO office in Gorontalo City using a contemporary architectural approach. The selected location is in the East City District, Moodu Village. This redesign is motivated by the need for government facilities that support agency performance in the rapidly developing digital era. The application of contemporary architecture aims to create a functional, flexible, and aesthetically pleasing building that reflects KOMINFO's modern identity. Design characteristics include: dynamic geometric forms, environmentally friendly materials, wide openings for natural lighting, and adaptive spatial layout to accommodate advancements in information technology. This approach is expected to produce government facilities that are responsive to future advancements in communication and information technology

    Abstract Analysis of the Success of Management Information Systems in Supporting Business Processes in the World of Education. Background: MIS functions as a tool that facilitates effective and efficient data management in an educational environment. An integrated system that combines data about students, instructors, curriculum, finances, and infrastructure can make it easier for various stakeholders to access and manage information. Educational institutions can use SIM to make decisions based on accurate and relevant data more quickly and precisely. Research objective: the aim is to analyze the success of management information systems in supporting business processes in the world of education. Research method: the research method used in this study is a quantitative research method with a survey approach. Research results: The research results show that system quality has a significant effect on business process efficiency. User satisfaction also has a significant influence on business process efficiency. The results of this research show that the implementation of SIM has a positive impact on the efficiency of business processes in the world of education. Conclusion: The results of this study indicate that the success of SIM implementation is influenced by system quality and user satisfaction. The tables and graphs displayed support the finding that MIS has significantly improved the efficiency of educational business processe

    PENERAPAN METODE LINE OF BALANCE (LOB) DALAM OPTIMALISASI JADWAL PEMBANGUNAN PERUMAHAN GRAHA ALAM SUTRA

    This study aims to apply and analyze the Line of Balance (LoB) method for scheduling the construction of 20 type 36/108 houses in the Graha Alam Sutra Housing Complex, Hutuo Village, Limboto District, Gorontalo Regency. The research questions include the technical application of the LoB method and the evaluation of project scheduling results after implementing the method. Research data includes the S-curve, Cost Estimate Plan (CEP), network planning, and field data. The LoB method is applied through the development of a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), activity logic diagram, and LoB graph for one house unit, which is then scaled up to 20 units simultaneously and linearly. Adjustments were made to the RAB, S-curve, and work sequence to prevent conflicts (crosses) between activities. The research results show that the LoB method successfully identified the project's critical path, minimized time deviations, and improved work rotation efficiency and field supervision. The project was completed in 110 calendar days with balanced work distribution across weeks. In conclusion, the LoB method proved effective for large-scale housing construction projects, producing a more structured, efficient, and easily monitored schedule compared to conventional methods

    SISTEM MONITORING ABSENSI SISWA DENGAN NOTIFIKASI WHATSAPP KE ORANG TUA MENGGUNAKAN TEKNOLOGI RFID

    This study aims to develop an attendance monitoring system using RFID with WhatsApp notifications. The RFID system utilizes radio waves for object identification and tracking, the system also utilizes fonts as a supporting application as api-whatsapp. Application testing is used in 2 ways, blackbox testing and UAT (User Acceptance Test). From the results of the design of the attendance system quality measurement application, it was successfully realized with blackbox testing. Blackbox testing is a test that ensures that the system that has been designed runs properly and correctly, while UAT (User Acceptance Test) testing is the final test to ensure that the software meets user needs. The test results at SMK Negeri 5 Gorontalo show that the attendance system using RFID can read and process data accurately. The system also operates consistently by sending notifications to parents after students scan their attendance
